Idk why I didn't remember Move Steal was a thing I have before now but yeah that's a thing, so Move Steal Met's haste thing and then Dio's Greatest High

Man I love getting all the best buffs at half the magica cost

True, genuinely interested to see if I can solo phase 1 of the end boss but I imagine my magica is going to run out too quickly for me to get the damage in.

the truck is the #2 killer in Japan, after the cold, it's not to be trifled with

Dio intimidated the enemies! Weiss, Jim, Akiza, Jack, Nate, Farnese, Effie, Elizabeth, James, Medusa and the Titan all had their Attack decreased!
Dio cut himself with the knife! He took 5HP of damage! He recovered 10 Sta/Mag!
Dio stabbed Effie once again! It dealt 8HP of damage! Dio recovered 4HP of health! Time resumed!
Akiza summoned the Wall of Ivy to guard the party! Weiss, Jim, Akiza, Jack, Nate, Farnese, Effie, Elizabeth and James had their Defence raised!
Nate stole Haste Glyph from Weiss! He became Hasted!
Nate stole Greatest High from Dio! His Attack returned to normal! His Defence boost was extended! His Evasion increased!
Jack whipped up a blizzard! Weiss, Jim, Akiza, Jack, Farnese, Effie, Elizabeth and James had their evasion boosted! Nate's evasion boost was extended!

Deadeye threw a knife at Medusa! It dealt 8HP of damage! It's not very effective...
Effie entered a low stance!
Farnese enchanted her mace with Light!
James channeled Magica through his machetes!
Elizabeth summoned a blue crystal orb to her side!
The crystal orb fired a shard at Medusa! It dealt 9HP of damage! It's not very effective...

Medusa turned a snake from her hair into a sharp spear! She threw it at Deadeye! It dealt 6HP of damage!
Medusa's snakes flowed with intensity! The snakes are now up to your shoulders! 'Eyes on me...' she said...

Titan fired its machine gun at Weiss! It dealt 2HP of damage!
Titan began charging a laser cannon...

Deadeye- HP 23/40

Effie- HP 6/30
Farnese- HP 150/150
James- HP 200/200
Elizabeth- HP 80/80

Titan AI is targeting Dio, Deadeye, Weiss and Medusa
Medusa is targeting everyone except the Titan AI
Medusa's Snakes are high! No-one can use Physical moves! All moves are guaranteed to hit anyone, aside from Medusa and the Titan. In order to dodge Medusa's glare, put that you will close your eyes when posting your action. This will make you take more damage, but you wont be petrified if she chooses you. There's a chance she wont pick you, even if your eyes are open, but that's your risk.
Attacks that hit AoE will hit every enemy that isn't on your 'side', so be careful of pulling aggro
Medusa has 2 more turns of decreased Defence!
Weiss, Jim, Akiza, Jack, Farnese, Effie, Elizabeth, James, Medusa and the Titan have 2 more turns of decreased Attack!
Weiss, Jim, Akiza, Jack, Farnese, Effie, Elizabeth and James have 2 more turns of boosted Defence!
Weiss, Jim, Akiza, Jack, Farnese, Effie, Elizabeth and James have 2 more turns of boosted Evasion!
Nate has 4 more turns of boosted Defence and Evasion!
Elizabeth has 2 more turns of Crystal Turret!
Effie is in a low Stance!
James is charged up!
Farnese has a sacred weapon!

Mage Size- Average

Serpico's barrier is up!


In this battle, you will need to co-ordinate your army in order to succeed. You have 5 regiments, Infantry, Cavalry, Archers, Mages and Personal Guard. The Personal Guard is those in your personal list. You can send them certain orders:

Attack- This regiment will strike this turn, but this will make them vulnerable to counterattack
Retreat- This regiment will recoup their strength, potentially regaining Heroic Spirits that may have been lost
Scout- This regiment will inform you of any possible ways of attack that might work
Rally- Join up with a different regiment to increase strength but remove their independent actions
Advance- Move in close and defend. They wont be able to heal themselves, but they'll take less damage and block damage for other regiments

Infantry- Basic footsoldiers. Average at everything, best Scouts
Cavalry- Mounted knights with high mobility and armour. Best at taking damage and charging
Archers- When attacking, they take more evasion as a tradeoff for lower defence
Mages- Extremely powerful, they take a lot of damage in return
Personal Guard- Depends on the person you choose. They are much more versatile than your other soldiers

So just to make sure, am I giving orders to?

-Just the 5 regiments
-5 regiments plus my own attack.
-Or 4 regiments + my move + Bannerman attacks.

I assume the former as otherwise they wouldn't be able to do enough damage to scratch the barrier but just want to make sure.

Third one. You can order your bannermen to just follow a normal order if you wish, instead of using individual moves

I guess this is the point where we should take out Dio so I guess if everyone is in agreement we should PM actions too?
All moves are guaranteed to hit anyone, aside from Medusa and the Titan.
Just to clarify this bit, does it mean there's a chance Medusa and the Titan will dodge attacks?
Also, can I sidestep the open/close eyes thing by using my mirror shield to see because if not I call bull, that s.hit is canon

Do my Telekinetic Barrier, Rose Blizzard and Doppelganger attacks include Medusa's petrifying? I'm kind of guessing the first two might?

Only normal dodging, through moves with accuracy modifiers or buffs/debuffs

Yes, but you need to raise it as an action to guard. This'll give you a defence increase too

Petrify is a unique status ailment that isn't subject to normal move rules, so none of those work

Do weapons in my item slots count as physical? Because I have a gun and a sword that would help in this situation.

If not I'll just close my eyes, haste up and drop more icicles on the arena.

Close my eyes, remove the Energy Stabilizer and attack Medusa with Crystal Rose Spirit.
Also I tried reading through the entire thread again, I got to page 84 before realising the passage of time would be close to consuming the universe by the time I'd finish.

I will use mach speed gordius wheel then Zeus' lightning.

Jim can cast Dark Curse to lower Serpico's defence
Tom can cast ancient seal to lower Serpico's accuracy
Kennedy can use Handcuff to lower Serpico's attack
Jenny can use Pep to boost my attack if Chase's thing doesn't already, if it does then she can Scout.
Chris can boost my defence
Klaus can spawn a random item, preferably one which restores magica.
Chase can use Offence Order to boost everyone's attack, or if I have to pick one group then just the mages.
Ranger James can powercharge me.
Effie can use piercing blow to buff me further.
Farnese can advance alongside the cavalry.


Infantry can Scout
Cavalry can Advance to defend.
Archers and Mages can both Attack

In that case I'll instead use my 0K cannon on Medusa and get this fight out of the way. Because this seems like it could get awkward very quickly.

While closing my eyes, of course.

Here's hoping being neck deep in her snakes doesn't mean it freezes us, too, but that's a risk I'm willing to take. And remember: Hoyle greenlit this plan.
