Decretum seems to have been quite important to a lot in this game, wolf and cult trying to kill him, but failing due to being the steel mafian, plus me blocking the detective from investigating him early on in the game, night 2 or 3 I believe.

And I was considering trying to get a lynch on you flag, but both quarg and decretum seemed to make far better cases than me simply saying I was suspicious

pokemaniac212 wrote:To defend myself over the yinga lynch Inofa's lynch on him was removed very quickly, so its hardly conclusive evidence of anything, while the strong defence of a convicted mafian was the best evidence I could find. As for lynching people who haven't claimed, that is what I have done.

Looking at my claims, there is only one vaguely iffy one, therefore the majority of the mafians and the wolf are inevitably among the 6 people who haven't yet claimed (for what it's worth they are tbm, quarg, bes, garf, flag and omegapit) of those I would say at least 3 are enemies of the village, it was just unlucky that the one I chose to shoot first happened to be village.

If someone else wants to lead the village and can prove they're clear I will happily follow them, but if no-one leads at all then the mafia will inevitably win.
Just going to point out that I named all 6 enemies of the village over a week ago. In fact, Yinga was the only person I could have had lynched at that point who wasn't an enemy of the village.

I'll do a proper post-mortem later when I can be bothered, but god the village were awful in this game.

We were very unlucky with who we chose to recruit, it'd either fail or they'd die. It was rather funny when everyone started worrying about how massive a threat the cult was though when there was only ever 3 of us at max.

That is what I thought, well, not K2 but that someone protected you. I killed K2 because he was annoying saying he wouldn't be that active but then lynching almost every phase and also wanting to kill me.

Cba proof reading this so excuse my probably poor grammar.
Spoilered to save your scroll bar...

Night 1:
K2. safeguarded Decretum
Yinga idled
Billy idled
Nofes hooked Hass
Rik hooked Garf
JenovaPX protected Met
Quarg idled mafia kill
Oathkeeper shot Met
Row101 sent Rik the green box (Free track)
Hass investigated Decretum
LFF investigated Edd
Bes hypnotised Quarg
BishBashBosh silenced JenovaPX
Garf sent Edd to recruit Rik
Riyuka tracked Met

K2 protected Decretum from getting instantly found out as mafia steel by the wolf, something which would later have helped Omega have a chance of winning in the penultimate night phase.
Jenova protected Met from the overeager Vig saving the lovers from both being killed Night 1.
Rik prevented Garf from recruiting him Night 1 and received the smell-o-scope from Row giving him one free track.
Bes hypnotised Quarg and received the fake role PM preventing him from influencing the mafia kill.
Whilst Nofes made absolutely certain that Hass’ attempt to investigate Decretum failed.
Night 2:
Aren142 annihilated JenovaPX
K2 safeguarded JenovaPX
Yinga idled
Billy jailed Aren142 (Success)
Nofes idled
Rik hooked Cribs
JenovaPX protected Garf
Decretum usurped Quarg and sent Flag to kill Edd
Oathkeeper shot Met again
Omega killed Rik
Row101 sent Met the red box (Free investigation)
LFF investigated Jimbob
Bes hypnotised Poke
BishBashBosh idled.
Garf idled because he thought real life was more important than mafia
Riyuka idled

Aren got annoyed that Quarg wasn’t here and decided to use his one shot unstoppable, unblockable, untrackable janitor kill on Jenova randomly who turned out to be the Bodyguard providing him with an excellent fake claim.
Jenova tried to protect Garf and was himself protected by K2’s safeguard even as Aren was supposed to have been locked up by Billy, but that wasn’t enough to stop the master kill.
Garf idled, though seeing as his probable target (Rik) and the underlings he would have sent (Edd) were both killed that night I doubt it ended up mattering much.
LFF cleared Jimbob and they eventually swapped claims when claiming to Poke amongst others though I don’t think it mattered in the end as they were killed by the mafia before they caught wind of either claim.
Met would have received a free investigation if he hadn’t been shot by the vig signalling the end for both him and his lover Gaz completing IRC’s rather painful night.
Night 3:
K2 safeguarded Decretum
Yinga idled
Billy jailed Aren142 (Failed)
Nofes hooked Decretum
Quarg sent Flag to kill Scapegoat
OmegaPit shot Aren142
Oathkeeper shot Aren142
LFF investigated Decretum
Bes hypnotised Omega
BishBashBosh silenced Omega
Garf recruited Oathkeeper
Riyuka idled

Oathkeeper teamed up with Omega to take down Aren who this time lost the dice roll of whether he would be jailed, then was recruited to the cult making up for Garf’s abysmal start.
K2 protected Decretum from being investigated again, also Nofes hooked Decretum despite them both being mafian lol
Bes hypnotised Omega giving him the power to redirect the wolf’s kills which could have been very useful if Bes had stuck around till the late game.
Night 4:
K2 safeguarded Poke
Yinga jailed Decretum
Billy idled
Nofes hooked Omega
Quarg sent Flag to kill Usagi
Oathkeeper shot Riyuka
Omega shot Dix
Row101 sent Nofes the spheroboom killing him
Bes redirected Omega to Poke
LFF investigated K2
BishBashBosh silenced Yinga
Garf attempted to recruit Poke
Riyuka idled

Poke and Nofes had been pretty influential the last day phase so nearly everything this night revolved around them.
Poke was protected from Garf’s recruitment attempt by K2 and from Bes redirecting the wolf his way by Nofes, who hooked Omega.
Nofes himself was killed by Row who wanted to send him an invention to help him out leading the village. As the other kills shot some inactives which seems to be a recurring theme this game.
Night 5:
K2 idled
Yinga idled
Billy jailed Decretum (Success)
Quarg sent Flag to kill Jimbob
OmegaPit shot Kaee
Oathkeeper idled
Row101 sent LFF the cronitons
Bes idled
LFF cleared Dix
BishBashBosh silenced Euan
Garf recruited Poke

Garf finally got another recruitment under his belt in the form of Poke who brought with him a decent list of village claims giving Garf plenty of potential recruitment targets.
LFF got the cronitons which would save his life next phase but lost his screen in the form of Jimbob.
Dix got a power up as the last remaining celebrity head but seeing as he’d claimed in thread a few days earlier he didn’t get much chance to use it. It was kind of unfortunate that he did but I had already decided beforehand that the role would be named upon receiving the power up. I thought it would be prudent to try and keep things balanced after I cut down the number of vanillagers from 5 to 4 meaning there was a chance the village could gain another very powerful role very quickly. Depending on which was the last villager alive they would have gained the following powers as a reward for hopefully staying active despite having what was a fairly boring role at the start:

Al Gore - Vig
Richard Nixon - Bodyguard
Stephen Hawking - Hooker
Leonard Nimoy - Cop
Night 6:
LFF used the cronitons
K2 idled
Billy idled
Quarg sent Flag to kill Dix
Oath shot BishBashBosh
Omega shot LFF
Row idled
Dix investigated Decretum
Bes idled
BishBashBosh silenced LFF
Garf sent Poke to recruit Dix

BishBashBosh got shot by Oath for claiming ‘villager’ to Poke earlier as Garf attempted to recruit Dix, seeing as Dix notified Poke of his power up.
However the mafia killed Dix putting a stop to that plan and the village almost lost their other cop too but LFF used his cronitons meaning he commuted the phase avoiding the wolf’s kill though it didn’t save him the following day phase.
Night 7:
K2 idled
Billy idled
Quarg sent Flag to kill Poke
Oathkeeper shot Decretum
Omega shot Row
Row101 sent Quarg the F-Ray (Free investigation)
Garf attempted to recruit Row101

This phase basically signalled the end for the cult as Oath failed to kill Decretum on the account of him being a steel and even though Garf predicted the mafia to kill Poke he was unable to recruit Row on account of him being dead. Omega having killed him before he had chance to give Quarg his gift.
Night 8:
K2 safeguarded Euan
Billy jailed Oath (Success)
Quarg sent Flag to kill Oath
Oath shot Omega
Omega shot Cribs

Billy jailed Oath keeping him alive for another phase as well as stopping him from breaking Omega’s bpv. That’s about it.
Night 9:
K2 safeguarded Billy
Billy jailed Euan (Success)
Quarg sent Decretum to kill Billy
Omega shot Decretum
Flag made an announcement

I actually debated over this phase for quite a while as my first reaction was that Decretum would die as by sending him out for a kill Quarg had prevented him from hiding in Robot Hell and being a steel meaning Omega could have killed him. But after consulting the role PMs I did actually specify in Quarg’s PM that they wouldn’t be able to use a night action, not power, ability or something like that, so I decided that the kill would not go through after all. I don’t think it mattered much in the final outcome seeing as the mafia were so far ahead at this point and had the rest of the village in their pocket.
Night 10:
K2 safeguarded Euan
Quarg sent Decretum to kill Euan
Omega shot K2

and that was the game.

That is what I thought, well, not K2 but that someone protected you. I killed K2 because he was annoying saying he wouldn't be that active but then lynching almost every phase and also wanting to kill me.
Well I said I wouldn't be active, which I largely wasn't active in partaking in helping he village at all, however I made sure to lynch and send night actions. It's sort of like how someone might not be politically active/aware but still votes in all the elections

edit incase someone else posts: I know I had an awful game, I had a chance to work with LFF which I wasted due to ill health and sleeping habits, and I was non-existent in putting forward ideas and working with others inthread till late game, when even then I failed to properly partake, and mostly bandwagoned with ideas I thought where agreeable. That is what I meant by inactive, not inactive in the sense I wouldn't try my best to at least use my night action and to lynch

The fact it had failed so much made it pretty easy tbh.

Not that it wasn't surprising, given the fact there's a mafia and 2 sets of masons to take into account, ruling out like around a third of the playerbase

I only vaguely recollect saying this. I think I was talking about someone we thought was cult lynching you. Maybe? I really can't remember.

Hooray for quotes out of context.

GG, I really thought that Omega was going to be Unlynchable not Wolf. Haven't seen that role used in a while, which is a shame because it's a strange role.

Half expected Boxer to be Joker.

Great hosting NN, can't wait for the next mafia game, it was a blast following along even after I had died.
