I'm not suggesting it for the sake of exploration or favouritism, and it isn't infatuation to want the games to branch out and give us something beyond the usual 'get eight badges and defeat the league, defeating bad guys on your day off' story. I'm not tired of that formula, but wanting something more is never an infatuation. Those that want for the sake of wanting are those with the infatuation. They just want a region with prettier graphics. I'm saying to go beyond what we know with the formula to mix it up, actually making it worth your time to go between regions - maybe not even with the full region accessible, but only that which is needed for the story progression - with a story that equally focuses on both while at the same time making both important.JenovaPX wrote:No, not really. Spreading a story between two regions adds nothing to a game, particularly in such a shoehorned manner as just getting on an aeroplane. I seriously still don't get this infatuation people have with having multiple regions, it just adds playtime to the games, particularly in two regions with gooseberry fool all to do with each other.
It's not just a case of wanting a region to appear again in my eyes. It's getting something more by adding something else to the mix.
