The Pokemon before the league don't seem to be much higher levelled than those in Vast Poni Canyon unfortunately. You don't get stronger wild ones until postgame which is really unfortunate.

So you might want to go back to Vast Poni Canyon for training. It'll probably take a while so now would be a good time to throw the EXP. Share on to help the whole team grow quicker. I was aiming for 55 with all my team but eventually settled on 54. Then I forgot to buy healing items and ended up losing the final fight.

Well I thought I'd just give it a go, turned the exp share on though just incase things don't go well and it'll help them grow a bit more. Currently 2 members down and on the third so it's not going terribly, get the feeling I should have brought more revives though.

Edit, got to the last member of the elite 4 before being soundly beaten, now retreated to Vast Poni Canyon with exp share still on to speed up the process of levelling up to 55.

I got Moon for Christmas so I should be able to have a much more relaxed playthrough of that at some point.

League done :) posed much more of a challenge than I thought it would, not helped by a lot of my team sharing similar weaknesses. Glad I didn't use exp share till the end though, would have made the game quite easy, as it happened I ended up with a team of between 60-63 anyway.

Onto the post game content now :)

I've got a group of 11 Pokemon which I rotate into my six. Pulled off a spectacular Pokemon League victory after accidentally going in with the weakest of those 11. No better satisfaction in games!

Because they don't seem to understand an analogue stick can cater to differing speeds?
Though considering they managed it with ORAS, I'd say tradition for tradition's sake.

I like it the way it is but maybe they should have an auto-run option select if it bothers some people.

Got Moon on Christmas Eve and have been enjoying it a ton. Looking forward to the January update.

I don't mind B to run. I do mind holding B for the bike equivalent.

And also the fan game of Prism getting the pull by Nintendo leading to rumours that's what the third version will be called.

Nintendo pull everything they get wind of. They pulled Pokémon Uranium just a couple of months ago because that's what they do when they hear about a fan game.

Yeah. There's been quite a few takedowns of fan games by Nintendo this year.
Never going to stop rumours from spreading.

But what actually is Prism? Is it just this fangame because I haven't seen anyone saying anything about anything else called it.

Necrozma is the Prism Pokémon so I guess it has something to do with that.

Got sun today, made it to the second island. Good fun. The emphasis on cutscenes and story is surprisingly done decently. Nothing much else to say really. Just pokemon

Just got my Type: Null so now I'm ready to start on the post game content, switched Type: Null in for Drampa, Drampa had very good special attack but was painfully slow and not exactly blessed with good defences to compliment it's low speed.

Up to 93% completion on my Pokedex. Literally all that's missing are most of the trade evolutions except for Alolan Golem and Sun exclusive evolutions lines (aside from Cottonee which I obtained in a trade and evolved into Whimsicott and Alolan Vulpix which I got over Wonder Trade and evolved into Alolan Ninetales with an extra Ice Stone which I found through wonder trade). Seems like I might actually complete the local dex this time around, never quite managed it with Y.

Sadly I lost internet on my 3DS so can't use GTS or Wonder Trade to help fill up that.

UB-01 and UB-02 down :) UB-02 had a ridiculously high catch rate, got it down to about 25% health and they all were caught on the first Poké ball. UB-03 is slightly trickier, he swept my team with his special attack beast boost and discharge, best bring some X Sp.Def next time.

Also how long does the EV training take on the island? Put my Lunala and Type: Null in for the maximum amount of sessions in special attack and attack respectively, just wondering if that'll take them to 252 EV's in that stat or not? Thought I'd try it out while I'm doing the UB quest.

1 session is about 1-4 EVs so I would put them in for the maximum 90 sessions and then in again for another 30 or so once those finish.

Checking up on how their stats are growing in Poke Pelago is also useful, Mohn even tells you the exact amount of EVs you've gained during the training too.

Just picked them both up, 99 sessions gave them 252 EV's in the respective stat, both now in for some speed EV's.

Finally defeat the E4. So many references to Kanto in this game, makes me think whether they'll delay the DP remakes and go straight to Red Sun and Blue Moon (or maybe they'll just be the sequels anyway).
