Yep it's been a thing since Emerald, sorry you didn't know earlier tbh RIP

In other news I've been trying out Battle Royale recently; playing at 2 FPS makes battling that much more nail-baiting.

Finally got a Mimikyu after searching for ages, rubbish nature though (attack down) so now I'll need to breed some, at least the time consuming part is over and done with.

Edit, bred some, best natures I've got are probably jolly and naughty, thinking naughty is probably the best of the bunch, ideally I was looking for adamant.

Got wiped by Lusamine when she's opening the Ultra Wormholes, first time that's happened in a long time. Probably didn't help that Decidueye and Golisopod had been taking too many levels ahead of the rest, then the realisation that I have literally nothing for Mismagius (between Shadow Ball and Power Gem it hit SE on all my mon so I should probably fix that.)
Still though, pretty hype story eton mess happening now. Current team is Decidueye, Golisopod, Marowak, Toucannon and Vikavolt with a Sandygast for switch fodder.
Side note - why are all the Alolamon so slow ;_;

it really cripples them to the point of me seriously regretting some of my team choices. Hell, my Incineroar is one of the worst guys on my team and that shouldn't happen with starters

that and him getting the short straw on type coverage

another trick you may not know but has been in since emerald, if you're still trying to get a Salazzle, have a male pokemon with Cute Charm lead the party. It guarantees a 66% Female to Male ratio

somehow managed to beat the Champion

god that was a close fight, literally luck that he managed to not get a Stealth Rock up

final squad

Lurantis Lv.47
Incineroar Lv. 46
Oricorio Lv. 48
Wishiwashi Lv. 47
Muk Lv. 47
Mudsdale Lv. 49

big improvement over gen VI, hoping for some more speed/less forcing my direction next time

Yeah, there aren't that many Alola Mons that get moves to counter their weaknesses. I think the only moves I have on any of my main team on Moon which helps counter weaknesses are Grass Knot on Raichu and Earthquake on Bewear and that's only on account of the fact that it's weak to Fire due to it's ability.

Also Rock weakness is countered for Araquanid but that's mainly due to the fact that it's a Water type anyway.

Watching the VGC European Championships it's notable that aside from the Ultra Beasts and the Tapus none of the new Pokemon are making it onto anyone's teams especially the ones that are doing well, which says a lot about many of the the new Alola Mon.

I thought Alolan Marowak was making quite a lot of appearances on teams. That's what i've heard anyway

Yeah, but technically that's just a new form of an older Pokemon.

I am back from the European Championships in London. I did utter eton mess. I finished 4-5 which isn't the worst thing in the world, but I started with 4 consecutive losses so ended up at the bottom end fighting people who had no idea what half the new stuff even is. I lost to a team that had Shiinotic and a Ground-type Silvally. The shame is almost too much.
My team was Nihilego, Oranguru, Marowak, Tapu Bulu, Wishiwashi, Torkoal.
Assault Vest Wishiwashi was MVP tbh. It fought against the world, quite literally since I faced players from 11 different countries in 16 rounds over two days in the main event and side event.

I just swept a guy's entire team with Minior with +1 Shell Smash and Shields Down active.

Even OHKO'ed a Snorlax with Acrobatics.

Minior is a gooseberry fool beast.

I've finally been catching the ultra beasts and legendaries now that i have a means to easily get the natures i need. But now I want to collect type null from gladion and have 0 clue what set to even go for on silvally. If they were breedable I could make several, but i need to commit to one Silvally build. I've considered just using eviolite type null and getting a silvally traded to me for the dex. I might just get a speedy one and swap it to whatever type i need for coverage on any given team. Or maybe use the choice scarf option.

It's certainly not OU material, but I do think it and Silvally have their uses. I mean Pachirisu has won someone a world championship. Every pokemon has their uses, and 95 In all stats (except speed on null) is definitely material for UU or RU at worst. Plus, I'm probably going to try and use most if not all of the new mons at some point.

>Making the Pachirisu argument

NICE MEME

I meant Null is trash because it doesn't even change typing it functions differently to Silvally.
Silvally is okay on the other hand.

You don't need to try tell me that Sejun Park won worlds because of Pachirisu, because it also didn't exclusively win it for him so the statement is also flawed

you know what's my favourite cheese strat.

leading with froslass @ focus sash, using taunt or spikes first depending on situation, and then using destiny bond to kamikaze. I love it when they send out some set upper in the lead like porygon z conversion, I drop down 2 spikes before going down to my sash and then just destiny bond and kamikaze the eton mess out of it.

leads to a forfeit about 60% of the time.

Showdown salt is my favourite condiment
Main reason I still run my Chatot ultrahax team, gonna need a replacement for Talonflame now that Gale Wings is useless though

Showdown salt?
I'll give you Showdown salt.
Someone quit on me because I was beating them with a team of Eeveelutions. And they had the more powerful 'mon. It was UU, of course, but they still had a Gyarados among others.

Forfeiting is salt now? I think it's a rarity to even actually finish a match on PS most times
