Not really, Dewgong has solid HP and defense, as long as it can take a few attacks then it can do what it needs to do. It's mediocre attack stat is the only reason it's CP is so low relatively speaking and that's more than made up for in Dnite having a 4x weakness. It's literally the same as every other game with a meta, matchups are important just like you don't want to take Zangief against Dhalsim.

yes.. but I mean the CP is lower.. but the stats haven't changed.
ooh Pure poison move set 97% Tenatcruel caught today.. very happy.. CP is decent as well 1286.
yes I know Hydro pump is better, but given how many water types there are, would rather have the poison move.
Ninatic now roll out the new nearby tracker.. completely ruining the nearby list.. cheers for that.. I care what is 10m away not 10 minutes away, nor do i care where i can find 3 rattatas

Got the new tracker which was a server side update.
Posted: Thu Dec 01, 2016 11:53 pm
yea the new tracker is shockingly bad.
instead of telling me there is something nearby, it now tells me there are 3-4 pidgeys 10 minute walk away.
around my house, within the old system I could have plenty in sightings, due to being near multiple spawn points, NOT linked to pokestops, where things like Snorlax and Vaporeon spawn... last night saw Bulbasaur and got 2 geodudes as well as said Bulbasaur.
3 hours later new tracking system... yea great... walking back, going where the spawns are located (not shown on tracking) I found a Cubone and a squirtle... while sightings was full of rattata venonat weedle and Pidgey.
even in city centres it sucks, found 2 Magikarps NOT shown.. and they WERE at pokestops.
on the upside, I did find a Vulpix nest because the tracker had 3 of them at 2 pokestops in the same place

Yeah it helps with nest Pokemon but that's it really. Although last night I booted it up to check something & had Porygon at the Pokestop at the top of our road. Was quite surprised.

yea and this nest may be a double nest, its not a super nest in terms of size, but it has Vulpix AND sandshrew
shame the 2 half decent nests in the are are currently.. weedle and Ekans

New update today sees the arrival of Johto Pokemon Pichu and Togepi through eggs.
I'm glad they didn't just lump in the entire Johto generation before doing the Kanto legendaries.

this is a bit meh tbh..
Eggs are frustrating.
Posted: Tue Dec 13, 2016 12:50 am
Not really, good way to introduce them actually. Since it's going for nostalgia it's worth remembering these were some of the first Gen II mon officially revealed too
Posted: Tue Dec 13, 2016 1:15 am
yea but eggs are just infuriating, I have had like 85% 5km eggs since my last 10km egg... there is no way I'm buying incubators.
Posted: Tue Dec 13, 2016 1:35 am
Well I'd imagine baby mon are going to be restricted to eggs anyway, even when the full gen releases. It's not like it makes any difference to things anyway, they're not exactly usable, they're just there to be collected so it does the thing of making people play the game longer.

Not worth wasting my mobile data for that.

Like you've got better things to be doing Joe

You can get a Pikachu with a Christmas hat
Posted: Tue Dec 13, 2016 4:43 pm
shame these Pikachu are probably not frequent enough to actually get the candy.
Posted: Tue Dec 13, 2016 5:10 pm
Eh, managed to catch three in a half hour walk, can't complain about that
Posted: Tue Dec 13, 2016 5:15 pm
1 in an hours walk...
Posted: Tue Dec 13, 2016 10:15 pm
If you evolve Pikachu with the hat he keeps the hat

still we live in hope that Crobat isn't terrible.
and I got a grimer out of 5KM egg as well.. means I can power up my Muk once again.
