Who are Nortec? And what do they do to Pokemon games?

Post by jason1297 » Fri Apr 07, 2017 9:57 pm

I bought a couple of Pokemon games from a boot sale that had the old red strip seal on, but also a nortec seal. As a collector, I don't really want to open them up, but am curious as to what Nortec does to these games.
As I can gather online, they are a Greek distributor who take English games, open them and insert Greek manuals, then seal them again with their own seal. Is this true? If so, can I count on there also being an English manual in a Nortec game if I plan to buy one to open in the future?

I'd like to know if anyone else has had one of these games, and what they found when they opened it. :D
