KHIII for 2021 is pretty optimistic tbh.
<Kaeetayel> Go for a team entirely composed of Eeveelutions
<Princess> that's effort
<Princess> I need to buy the stones/go to rocks/make them happy/touch Eevee
<Kaeetayel> The last one doesn't sound too bad

Even tho I exclusively play Suicune atm, I'm already itching for more fighters. Not just to play, but to play against too.

I think I know why lol. BUT in my defense, literally the second Suicune was revealed for this game it was a day one buy for me. I was devoted since the start. Not backing out because people don't like the character or it's play style. I'm personally enjoying playing someone different for a change. I would be using Sceptile if Suicune wasn't in the game tho.

Tried the demo the other day and it was pretty fun, Gengar and Lucario are my favourites from the demo characters. I'd be lying if I said I'd developed any level of skill beyond spamming bone rush/Gengar grabs though, would've been nice if they'd included some sort of practice mode to work out combos etc. Not sure whether I'll be getting the full game just yet, might end up waiting to get it cheap since it's not something I'm overly fussed about.

They have a very good practice mode in the real game, but yeah maybe the demo could use it too.

Yes, almost too good lol. I find myself never even approaching sometimes, which I imagine might be incredibly frustrating to play against. Suicune has a lot of start up with most of it's moves so you generally don't want to stay too close. Tho some close up combos are pretty deadly too so it can go both ways if you're a smart player.

This is a pretty good showcase of some combos you can do. Will be learning some of these for sure.

Edit: Achieved Grand Master status. Have only 2 losses under my belt. Also Braixen can actually do one. Both Pikachu's can do one too.

I've tried out all the characters in practise mode although I'm not really in a position to judge them all properly just yet. Still like playing as Chandulure though.

This is the progress I've made with him so far:

On subject of Pokemon stats, what do you guys favor when leveling up your Pokemon? Since I like to keep things all rounded I have kept raising all my stats evenly.

If you're playing online are you able to do screenshots of the results and post them to miiverse?

TOURNAMENT TIME

Would be silly not to have a little tourney given that it's in the games name n all

I'll make a banner later

Anyone who's interested copy the below info, fill it out and post it to sign up. Depending on how many names we get we'll see how this goes and set up specific details for matches then.

Oh go on then, I'll probably get destroyed as I'm pretty average at fighting games, including this, but it wouldn't hurt to be in the tournament.

What time would you plan on hosting this? I only get a couple days off from work. Don't think I could play during afternoons either.

Not sure atm, just seeing if there's enough interest in the first place to actually go through with it, we can sort out the details & timings for it later on

NN ID: smonti
Main/s: Braixen
Skill Levels for main/s: SL93 (probably will rise - but I didn't think these applied in multiplayer?)
Main Support/s: Yveltal/Latios, Dragonite/Victini, Reshiram/Cresselia

I'm considering trying out other characters atm, but feel most comfortable with Braixen...

I don't have the game so I don't know tbh
Would be easier if they didn't though

I'm pretty sure they don't, it's single player only that they matter.

If someone could back me up on that...

There's an option to play with Skill levels on or off during multiplayer. Probs best to have it turned off to keep things even.

Yeah, probably best off for that. Even if characters might feel a bit difference on the attack/defence front that players may be used to.
