Still on Prime 2, got to the game's obligatory artefact hunt, which I'm sure will blow almost as much as the dark world before you get the light suit
Quadraxis is now one of my highlights from this series

My first line of business after competing Zelda was to go back to my childhood PS2 game I recently repurchased: 'Spongebob Creature from the Krusty Krab'. It wasn't quite Battle for Bikini Bottom good, but I certainly enjoyed myself even beyond the nostalgia.

Today I finally got around to checking out the Plague Knight campaign on my Wii U and damn it's great. From what I've played so far I prefer it to Shovel Knight, the movements you can pull off are just awesome. Spent nearly an hour doing that ascending tower challenge and it never got frustrating - enjoyed every moment.
Ever since joining the original ONM I've been a huge Nintendo fan (specifically Zelda) and am looking forward to some great discussions. I was previously known as Lego Master

OK, the second boss in Splatoon 2 was awesome. This single player campaign is already better than the first game due to the weapon variety in all stages and I feel the levels are much better designed as a whole. I was surprised when they gave me a roller for the second boss only for the boss to be this awesome samurai octopus which fights you back with a roller himself.

Taking a break from Splatoon 2's single player though because Sonic Mania has just come out and I've been playing that a fair amount today. Got to the Flying Battery Zone and reached the end of the stage, only to lose all my lives on the boss at the end. Going to have to do the whole thing again.

Agreed. I didn't see it coming at all but to suddenly be dropped into a vs. game of Mean Bean Machine against Robotnik was such a cool idea. I beat him first time but it's certainly one of the more memorable boss battles.

I haven't been surprised by a game like that in a long time. Kind of magical, really. It's a shame the bosses are so hit and miss overall.

Just got onto the 5th world in Splatoon 2, single player has been pretty good so far. Bosses have been very good in my opinion.

Just now finished a Sonic & Tails run, didn't manage all of the emeralds though.

Absolutely adored it, but it has its aggravating moments. Certain bosses were incredible. Certain other bosses can go fuck themselves.

Love the emerald stages, elusive though they are. Hate the blue sphere stages, as I always have.

Also drop dash best addition since the spindash, it makes everything feel so fluid.

Finally got have a go at Sonic Mania. It's pretty awesome, although I would have loved more original stages. Did a Sonic and Tails run, and got 5 chaos emeralds, so I'm pretty chuffed with that.

I've also been playing Miitopia on 3DS, and a bit of Gal*Gun on PS Vita.

Started Just Cause 3 now, and it's a lot better than i was expecting, the setting is great, and blowing stuff up is always fun.

Got Manias true ending last night, the special stages get a lot easier once used to the handling. Blitzing it through the last zone with Super Sonic was incredibly satisfying

Now doing a Knuckles run. He handles like a tank compared to Sonic but I love how he was made to wander off the beaten path

I actually didn't mind that one. I was more referring to Metal Sonic and the Press Garden one. Also Titanic Monarch, but that's more the level than the boss.

Oh god, yes. Absolutely hate that boss so, so much. I actually got a game over there and haven't gone back to the game since, but I will do eventually. Apart from a couple, I'm pretty sure I beat most bosses on my first try, even Metal Sonic. Other than that, I'm loving every minute of Mania.

I also played through Hellblade and didn't really like it all that much. I love the visuals and sense of paranoia that the game offers, but gooseberry fool me I found the gameplay so dull. The combat is ok once you get used to it, but I found it way more frustrating than intended, especially in later stages where they throw multiple enemies at you at an attempt to raise the difficulty. Oh, and the 'find the shape in the environment' "puzzles" were never fun and always felt like a chore.

Easily the worst Ninja Theory game imo.

Made quite a bit of progress in Sonic Mania. Reached the Oil Ocean zone and reckon I'm about three quarters of the way through the game. Really enjoying what I've been playing despite a life counter that ticked down dramatically after a while and going through the game completely blind with no idea what to expect from the bosses has made it all the more satisfying trying to figure out how to beat some of them. Was stuck on Metal Sonic for a while where it didn't seem so obvious as to how to beat him.

Love the music for Mirage Saloon Act 1 but did not like the stage much at all. Was surprisingly shorter than I expected it to be too.

Special stage wise I've only got three Chaos Emeralds. Not ideal if there are only 4 zones to go. I need an Emerald in every zone or to find multiple special stage rings in the last four zones in order to get the four Emeralds I need to get the true ending.

Also playing Splatoon 2 and reached the fourth world but found a particularly tricky level, I can't remember any levels this hard in the first game's single player. But there's a certain section which I am really struggling with where you have to face a gauntlet of enemies while being forced to wield the Splat Charger, leaving you wide open to attack.

Been playing bits and bobs of stuff, been playing some animal crossing on 3ds and a bit of forza 5 on the Xbox one. Also played a lot of legend on the SNES and a chibi gundam game in there too so I could review them.

Got the Bulletstorm remaster at the weekend and it's a okay game, if a bit linear, shooting feels great and the skill shots are fun to pull of but there's far better single player shooters out there.

For the past couple of days Iv'e been playing Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and am now about halfway done with the game's first truly open area (the western ghats). So far I'm finding the locations more appealing than any previous Uncharted and the graphics somehow improved from 4.

I also like the new additions to photo mode - cheif among them being the ability to alter the angle of the sun. It's surprising to me that Naughty Dog even thought to top up these options and I for one can easily appreciate it.

Reached the Titanic Monarch level in Sonic Mania, the music on this level is so good.

Also attempted the final boss but only had one life and died pretty quickly. Looks like I'm not going to finish the game with any more than 3 Chaos Emeralds, just couldn't clear Special Stage 4 in the end.

Also unlocked Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles mode (& Knuckles)

Been going through Uncharted the Lost Legacy and I'm absolutely enjoying, Chloe is a great lead and proves the franchise can live without Nate and the game seems to take more risks and try new thing than Uncharted 4.
Also been going through the multiplayer and tried the Survival mode for the first time, and both are great experiences that I keep jumping to, for a short development cycle Naughty Dog has done wonders.
Looking forward to what they've got up their sleeve for TLOU2.

Completed Splatoon 2's single player, now moved onto Shovel Knight once more, beaten King and Specter Knight (each on my first attempt, unlike last time where Specter Knight in particular gave me grief), intent on finally starting BoTW again tomorrow, so I can at least get a few hours on the clock before Mario & Rabbids shows up.

Now finished Sonic Mania. Great game, may replay sometime to try and get all the Chaos Emeralds and get the true ending, maybe with a Tails or Knuckles playthrough (with the & Knuckles mode on) but I've also got Splatoon 2 to finish and F1 2017 is out tomorrow which I plan to get, although that's more of a game that I'll play in between games most likely.

For once I'm not getting the yearly F1 game at launch (probably hint at someone to get it me as a Christmas present, reckon it'll have dropped a bit in price by then anyway), going to get my racing fix from Gran Turismo Sport when it comes out in mid October. Got plenty of Nintendo games to occupy myself with in the meantime though so I won't be missing F1 2017, much anyway.

Well, after one race on F1 2017 on Belgium I finished 6th in a Renault. Albeit with about the use of 8 flashbacks >.>

This is the first time I've played a Codemasters F1 game though, so mistakes were bound to happen.
