To be honest this is the first ever ever thing Amazon have been late with. I got my Xbox one in one of there lightning sales and it was delivered like a week before estimate on a Sunday so in some cases they've been really cool for me.

Ordering from Game was my recent worst experience it took a week and a half for an in stock item to come when it was 1st class delivered.

I guess it differs from person to person and the experiences they've had with companies

pre-ordered from game when it was announced, it arrived yesterday morning. banjo is still the best thing ever; pretty much bought this just so i could play viva piñata on the xbone, but i'm surprisingly enjoying perfect dark zero. always wanted to play it but never got round to buying it; i remember seeing screenshots and videos of it back in '05 and it looked incredible, to be fair to it, it still holds up kinda well today, graphically it's not aged too badly and gameplay wise it's pretty fun, if a little sluggish.

it installs pretty much everything from blast corps onwards separately though; NES, SNES and arcade stuff is on the disc but the N64, xbox and 360 games run through a 360 emulation so they all need to be installed seperately. look forward to hours of waiting

My daughters been playing on the Xbox one on an already installed game so its all been installing in the background, I would imagine it will all be done by the time I am pushing her off.

Yeah, this does suck. The entire thing has taken up like a quarter of my Xbone's memory. It's ridiculous. Also kinda sucks that the N64 games are still in 4:3, but I expected that tbh.

Its left me with some games showing up twice and unsure what to do in regards to it..

I have Viva pinata and trouble in paradise and perfect dark on my machine already from before the disc and yet there on from the disc but those versions I presume need the disc in to play but if I delete them will the before versions work oh dear its complex lol

it seemingly runs off cloud saves and an emulation, so instead of unlocking achievements through rare replay itself for perfect dark, banjo, viva piñata, etc. you earn them through the respective games 360 achievements list. kinda confusing as i thought they'd be all new xbox one versions, but still, fun games so ehh

I would definitely play Jet-force Gemmy, Perfect Dark, Conker, Blast Corps.

Banjo Kazooie is one of my fave games of all time, I replayed that this year actually on xbox and it holds up quite nicely. I didn't much care for Banjo Tooie though. There was far too many collectables and the worlds were too vast, which I found walking around tiring and uninteresting. Also the fact that Bottles died and came back as a ghost felt a bit out of tone with the Banjo games.

Do give Nuts and Bolts a go at some point, its actually a very good game in its own right (people were just understandably angry it wasn't what they asked for nor wanted), but it has some great platform and tight puzzles so you might have fun with it :D

i never played perfect dark, aside from a trial of the XBLA version when it first launched, and it's still the most confusing thing ever. i mean, gameplay wise it's solid, i just have no gooseberry fool clue what's happening.

also i bought nuts and bolts when it first launched and while it was a massive disappointment it was kinda fun, i just never got beyond the first world/level thingy because i never actually saw the point of the game, seemingly most missions or objectives boiled down to 'race this thing', plus the intro was like the biggest tease in the history of gaming

Good variety of games in a well presented collection. Done everything in regards to Jetpac and Gunfright, working on Conkers Bad Fur Day now.

I played the opening 3 levels through last night based entirely on this thread. Excellent fun, I'm hoping they've allowed dual analogue control.

That's surprising considering the success of Kinect Sports.

Used infinite lives on that, can't stand the game. Some of these games are awful three decades on (Lunar Jetman, Underwurlde). The snapshots are easy on Jetpac bar the last one where you have one life, no rewind and no weapon.
