I have just checked the link again and they must have been allocated more stock as its up for pre-order again, its a shame you didn't get a disc rather than a download code

Figured I'd share this, 'Sonic Utopia' is an experimental fan game that tries to combine classic physics with 3D gameplay

right now its pretty open and more or less a huge playground, but there's a lot of potential here

It looks as though it plays like Lost World, which I'd love to see in an open setting like that.

Gotta love that running animation too.

so I hooked my controller up and gave it a shot, ended up messing around in it for the last 40 minutes and having a good time

the controls, momentum and weight feel p natural. even when the level is a huge open sandbox with a mish mash of level ideas, the gameplay flows really well when running through stuff like obstacles and hills

I have high hopes for Mania. From the small demo I played of it at Summer of Sonic, I'm really liking it.
Haven't paid much attention to the latest bout of videos showcasing the new level and how Tails and Knuckles play, but from the odd bits I have caught it still looks great.

Project Sonic 2017 though... I honestly don't know what to think. The trailer just does nothing for me except make me think of Generations. Granted, Generations is a good game, but if this is just taking a load of elements from it to put into a new game without expanding on them, I honestly wouldn't care much apart from the new levels to tear around in.

Well, a new trailer hit for Forces, and character creator is real. Different species have been confirmed to have abilities, and no matter what will have a grapple gun.

There's also a bit of gameplay of the new character in action, and vocal themes within levels are back.

How's the game looking for people now?

Well, bring on the inevitable mass sexualised furries that will no doubt plague the game...

...I mean, interesting feature nonetheless but overall I think the return to the Generations style of gameplay is overall what will likely convince me to get this game, would be the first Sonic game I've bought in a long time (well, it would be if I wasn't considering Sonic Mania on Switch when that comes out.

An interesting feature I suppose but I'd rather it was just Classic and Modern Sonic.

You shouldn't let that degenerate eton mess plague your experience.

Personally I think it's a cool concept and something which looks like it could easily justify more depth and replayability to each stage. Will certainly be on the lookout for red rings more so than in other recent titles.
