£16, which is expensive considering the length. It was £13 to preorder for PS+ members but stupidly I assumed that it would remain discounted on release (as many games do in their first week). I think the price will put a lot of people off - I don't think I would have paid it were I not a fan of these types of game and had I not already played Journey (considering its by the Journey art director), been following the game with interest since E3 2015 and seen the favourable reviews.

If you've not played Journey then I would suggest you buy the Journey collector's edition for PS4 which nets you flow and (more importantly) flower too. I think Journey is more worth people's time than Abzu simply because of the unique approach to multiplayer - but I have no idea how likely it is for you to still find other people playing it.

Releasing that or Ape Escape 4 would probably get me to actually buy a PS4.

Anyone here interested in Bound? Game is so damn captivating to watch. I wonder what it will be like to play. Really excited to get lost in it.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Am I right in saying it's out on the 16th?

Still a few weeks off yeah. Will be a nice game to help pass time until Deus Ex MD tho. Another game I can't wait to lose myself in.

This month is pretty rammed with releases that I want, Deus Ex is another.

I went back to Abzu last night and cleared up most of the secrets, which are pretty nice if few in number. All I have left to do is find some fish pools I missed, but I have no idea where to look.

And I got all of the fishpools, I had missed all three at the start of the second level and one of three at the start of the third.

The game is still wonderfully relaxing just to play, and I discovered that you can make dolphins do different tricks if you ride one out of the water and roll with a direction.

No Mans Sky will be released tomorrow and god knows whether it'll live up to the hype, folks on Facebook are literally loosing rag over it.

I wasn't that keen on the game when it was first announced, but reading up on it and seeing videos about it have certainly made me interested in it, but I'm going to be a bit weary of it and see how well it's received by fans. Anyhoo Deus EX is out in a couple of weeks, can't wait!

Seems like NMS will be going through several patches and updates as the games life progresses so I might jump in when everything settles down a bit more. With Bound next week and Deus Ex the week after, August is pretty set. Tho a part of me is starting to feel a bit reserved for Deus Ex. So I'm deciding to wait for reviews and impressions before I go in.

I bet we're finally going to see Deep Down again at the supposed PS4 Neo reveal next month. This has been on my hype list ever since it was revealed. I just want to see what the heck is going on with it.

I wouldn't count on it, it could easily just be Capcom maintaining their ownership of the name as a lot of companies do for as long as they can.

It says they have to prove the name is being used within 6 months for them to be able to keep it. So we might be seeing it again soon either way. Only big events I can think of happening in that time frame is the Neo reveal, TGS, Paris Games week, PSX and the Game Awards.

Last night I tried the PlayStation Now service and the first game I played was Sonic Adventure as it was a game I loved on the Dreamcast after a sort while I realised I needed to stop playing it as it was ruining my happy memories of the game as it is not as great now as it once was

I also played a game called "Tokyo Jungle" and it is a really strange game that is strangely entertaining

Tokyo Jungle is an amazing game, genuinely one of the most unique games I've ever played. My only complaint is that it literally just stops letting you survive when you reach Day 100.

My biggest gripe with Tokyo Jungle is the huge imbalance in difficulty between carnivores and herbivores. Even without running from predators, just finding enough untainted food to survive as a prey animal becomes near impossible after only a few decades.

You just have to stockpile food items basically

IIRC herbivores have larger litters so its easier to escape from predators though, right?

Yeah, they usually have at least two even with a desperate female, and they have the ability to sacrifice one of the litter to escape. That's never really been a problem for me, though.

I find the items pretty hard to come by, so I rarely have enough to rely on. And don't even get me started on radiation.

I recently took notice of a little known game called Aragami. It's a stealth game which relies on shadows (like Thief but in third-person) and lets you control them to some degree as you assassinate foes. From the little gameplay Iv'e seen, it's looking somewhat promising.

Although it's stylistic visuals and sense of intrigue should prove appealing, I can see Aragami becoming just another underrated PS4 gem.

Oh snap, the second Nioh Beta starts next week from the 23rd. Completly forgot about it. Can't wait to jump back in.

Also Bound is out today on PSN and I'm loving all these screens I'm seeing around Twitter. Wasn't aware there is a photo mode which has just sold me even more. Going to download and let it consume me tomorrow.

Bit of a shame I'll be away next week but at least the Nioh beta isn't a timed thing right?

Awesome, was worried since I didn't recall. I'll pick it up next weekend then, can't see it being harder than the alpha but still so interested to see what happens. Really hoping to see more environments, especially if we get any daylight levels just to get a much better look at everything.

Love how my monitor decides to not work now of all times... The screen still turns on but it's not picking up on my PS4 or Laptop through the HDMI.
