Best Elgato settings for Nintendo Switch recording?

Post by jason1297 » Sat Aug 26, 2017 6:36 pm

I've recently bought an Elgato HD60 and am going to start using it to record Switch gameplay. I already set the RGB colour range to full/expanded on both the Switch and the Elgato software, and I have also set the input device on the Elgato software to Nintendo Switch. Beyond this, I am not really sure which settings to tweak to get the best recordings from my Switch (not streaming). I've guessed that the slider for quality should be as high as possible with my storage, but please can someone help me with the best settings?

Have you checked out the Elgato help pages? See https://gaming.help.elgato.com/customer ... g/articles

This one is for the HD60 - I'm not sure they go into details on best settings though. If in doubt I reckon you just want to go for the highest quality on any sliders - just be aware it's going to take up more space.
