new 3ds system transfere

Post by stevo26 » Sat Feb 07, 2015 4:05 pm

so i will be getting the new 3ds on friday,
but what i want to know is how to do the system transfere from my current 3ds?
so i know i need to go to settings, system transfere etc but does the new 3ds need to be updated prior to doing the transfere?
do i just get the new one out of the box charge it and then do the system transfere 1st before anything else?

has anyone done the transfere before?

After less than 5 seconds of typing into Google

Seriously, any issues like "How do I do x with a 3DS" can always be addressed far quicker and usually more adequately by a quick Google search. That should always be your first port of call whenever confronted with a problem.

thanks for that link,
i think the easiest thing is to just do it all from wireless then thers no swapping sd cards and stuff,
you can do it like that cant you?

Yes, as the link says, it's purely optional

man the screens are way better with the super stable 3d, very nice indeed,

how do you turn wireless on and off on the new 3ds? thers no slider switch like there is on the old one?
and i cant find it in the manual, does it stay on all the time?

There should be a button on the home menu that you can tap to turn it on/off in the upper left corner
