(Thanks for that, but I like all the others! I'm sure I'll get used to Smug Pear, as I shall now call him.)

If this becomes popular like Banjo-Kazooie, I'm hoping they'll make Tooka-Laylee and Yooka-Laythree and manage to complete a trilogy.
They've made more money than most indie studios do already, they'll be making more games in the future for sure.

At least they're being honest and not doing a Comcept. Will watch the trailer when I'm home.

I think from the very beginning its been clear that they're not doing a comcept when they showed pre-alpha footage that was graphically superior to the most recent mighty no.9 trailer.

I didn't get one but that's actually pretty neat. Also I don't think I'd be able to say no to a Yooka Laylee Amiibo should they decide to make one.

If it's not the actual cart Playtonic are distributing then why would you want it?

well for a start you had to put a big donation down to get the playtonic cart and this is identical and also because it looks soo cool in the game collection its the n64 game that never was its basically banjo threeie
and the sweet bonus being banjo kazzoie is on the cart!
you dont get that with the playtonic cart :D

The Toybox is especially nice and gives a very good feel about what the final game will be like. The characters control very much like the Bajnjo-Kazooie games in terms of moves while its music instantly took me right back to my N64 days which I have to be honest, I loved. It practically is Banjo-Threeie. Utterly hyped for the full game!

Downloaded the toybox, love the music on it but I feel like I'm missing out a little bit as it doesn't tell you controls for keyboards (don't have a wired 360 pad to hand) so I was just kind of experimenting and running about the world for a while, seems like good fun though.

I have a Toybox code going spare as my archaic laptop doesn't have the 4 Gig of RAM you need to play the game. If you're interested - yes, you - get in touch.

Edit: it's gone. Sorry, y'all.

Cross-posting from GNamer as I got the key from Zero (thanks again!)

Thanks to Zero, I just played through the Toybox! After initially fiddling with the controller settings to get my ps4 pad to work properly (as it assumes you're using an xbox pad and I also had to hit an option in the menu to stop it constantly rolling) it was excellent. Really enjoyed the general feel of it, but especially the music and sound coupled with the banjo-kazooie style dialogue and collectibles. Really nails it!

Delighted to read that, OR. Always hoping for good things but it looks like the side order of great has hit the spot too.
