Post a pic of your gaming setup

Post by D.J » Sun May 10, 2015 1:51 pm

As the topic title says, post a pic of your setup.

We used to do this during onm's early days all the time, and it's always fun to see what everyone else has.

Anyhow, to get things started, here be mine...

My room is a mess right now, as I'm moving stuff around, normally a lot more organised.

Still sorting out somewhere to put my consoles right now, the way they are now can't be good for airflow, I honestly only ever use the Wii U and 3DS, the PS4 has been gathering dust for a while now, I'll get round to playing Bloodborne one day.

This gave me a good excuse to tidy up

Vita games are tucked away to the side of the 3DS, PS2 is to the right of the PS3

Haha, I couldn't be bothered tidying up.

Very nice set up tho, Kess.

The consoles stacked on top of each other makes me nervous for some reason. Nice PC tho Lost Noob.......is that ice cream in one of the pics???

The leaning tower of consoles is just a while I clean up, they seem quite safe there, the Xbox 360 is so huge, it pretty much acts as a table for them, and yeah, Ben and Jerrys banana icecream, greatest invention known to mankind.

I'm mid shuffle-round so the PS2 and Hardwired are elsewhere, but there's the mountain of incoherent stuff I call my setup. (Also, if anyone can guess what's on the TV, bonus points)

Those white Xbox ones look really nice, I almost regret not getting one when they were cheap.
I'll try get one when the next Tomb Raider comes out, looks so much better than the black model.

Also I'm assuming thats the Thick of it?
Been a while since I've last watched it tbf.

Wires are everywhere, but at least the desk is clean. And that second monitor isn't actually connected to my PC, I use that to play console games on.
Down below there is a Wii U on top of a PS2. Under the desk you might be able to see there are around 5 bottles of apple juice. The fightstick is on the chair while I took the picture, I leave it there and when I sit down I just have it on my lap.
Of course, gotta have that gum, I don't know what I'd do without it. All of my games are in a chest of drawers to the left of the desk. My bed is literally right behind me, the chair only barely fits in. It's a very small room, but that just makes it easier to clean :D

'tis indeed haha

The white Xboxes too, you can get one with Sunset Overdrive but I don't remember if they still do them. Both the PS4 and Xbone are much, much nicer in white I think, suits the glossiness. Only thing that annoys me about this one is that the right hand side cooling vent is still black, rather wish it was white to match, but can't win them all I suppose...

Why is there shower gel on your desk?

Also, that shower gel is godlike, good taste.

Oh yeah.

I guess it can make its way to the bathroom tomorrow morning.

8000 mint leaves is quite a lot when you think about it.

Not much changed since the last time, although the PC has a new case and the wall changed colour (along with a ton of revision post-its)

The Transcendence dice of fortune are also present (although not really visible due to potato phone picture)

Why does everyone have such posh shelving units and PCs?

Image

This is the view from my little corner. I've had that small TV since 2001. My brother is only one year older than that TV. Haha. Actually now I think about it I have some consoles that are way older than my brother.

I wish I had a decent set up. Currently most of my games are in drawers, and on top of the drawers is a big fat 28inch CRT TV lol. Only got 3 consoles connected at any one time. The rest are in boxes under my bed. And any other games are stacked up in my wardrobe lol.

Not the best in the world and not exactly what I'd prefer but space isn't a luxury I have unfortunately. Its also a little messy too and needs a good sort/tidy;

Image

It's very dark but you can just see the top of my PS3 in the bottom left corner and I've just realised my Xbox 360 is completely hidden in this angle.

And I'm not going to show you how cramped I am with my PC setup, its on one of those horrible all in one thingys where your rinter whacks your knees if you get too close and the keyboard is on a pulley drawer - I hate it but like I said, I have no room for a proper desk which I'd kill for.

Stupid question - how do you post a picture on here?
Ever since joining the original ONM I've been a huge Nintendo fan (specifically Zelda) and am looking forward to some great discussions. I was previously known as Lego Master

Loving the extreme gamecube love.. I'm gonna have to get round to posting a few of my setups soon.

Nintendonator3000 wrote:Stupid question - how do you post a picture on here?
Upload a picture on a decent free pic uploader. I use tinypic and have done for years.

Then gain the pictures identity or url from the upload.

Then add it between the [img] tabs. You can find [img] in the post creation menu above where you type/ construct your post.

All you do it upload your photo to a host like http://www.photobucket.com , then post the direct link here using the following tags...

Code: Select all

Hope that helps. :)

I still have my Gamecube too, only it's packed away in a box, just like all my other old consoles as i've only enough space on the table now for one.
