And we're just inches away from the final goal and just a reminder that there'll be a stream for the final four hours of the campaign with a whole host of people involved featuring speedruns and other kinds of events happening as things draw to a close, should start around midnight for us.

Yeah, just waiting for official confirmation now but we're pretty much guaranteed to be over $5m.

And just when we thought it was over, the true final stretch goal is revealed. $5.5 mil for a boss revenge mode and 1 more community achievement for a "pure" costume for Miriam. Who knows if we'll get both but the costume should be manageable, 8 hours remaining and we're sitting on approximately $5.05-5.1 million, officially the biggest kickstarter game total yet.

The channel for the live stream later

Gone in for the $60 one, doing my bit to get that final goal secured.
Edit - or at least I would do if my internet could stop being cancerously unstable for just one minute, it doesn't want to let me pay

So tempted to go in for the $60 one. Does look very good so far.

Backed it for $60, that makes two projects I've backed on Kickstater now, Yooka-Laylee and Bloodstained. I'll be going for the Wii U version obviously :)

We reached 5.5 million, and with 2 hours to spare. Amazing, now I can't wait for 2017.

And the stream's been pretty awesome so far with some cool little plays of Inti Creates games like Gunvolt and a new Shantae demo as well as Iga whipping some candles and "Die monster!" and the genesis of Bismark Kappa III

I'm shocked and really happy that the game actually raised just over $5.5 million (presume a touch more with PayPal money factored in), it really gained a lot of interest and momentum in the last couple of days :)

Prequels etc await .. this is like Muramasa meets Trine in an epic Gothic castle of ginormous preportions, with so many modes your mind blows every time you try to load the thing, produced by a demi-god .. and there will be one or two inside for sure.

Cheeky bump, because survey's were sent out a couple days ago.

Torn between what console to get it for. I originally planned to get it for the Vita, but I bought the Alchemist's Treasure bundle, which includes an art sleeve, so now I'm wondering if that art sleeve would be smaller to fit a Vita case, or if the Vita case would be bigger to fit the art sleeve. I could play it safe and get it for Wii U or PS4, as both of those cases are normal sizes, but the Vita cases are tiny so I'm wondering how they'll work it with the art sleeve.

What about the rest of you guys? How much did you back in the end, and which consoles are you getting it for?

Also this serves as a little reminder to backers that surveys have gone out, so double check your e-mail. If you don't get a survey by Monday message the guys at Fangamer about it and they'll sort it out for you apparently.

I pledged enough to get a digital version, and picked the Wii U.

How long do you have to fill in the survey? Still haven't made my mind up about whether to get a PS4 or not, if I do get one I'll get that version but if not then I'm probably going Wii U

Well you can edit it til an unspecified date so you might as well fill it out now and then come back to it if you change your mind.

I only bothered going for a digital copy. None of the other low-priced bundles really grabbed me and it's a bit bloody late to try and get anything inserted into the game.

Bumping since sick news.

The demo that was available at E3 is now being sent out to backers who pledged more that $60. Only on Windows but from what I've seen of the E3 demo it looks great and delivers on what we're expecting. Demo alone looks better than MN9.

From what I saw it seemed a bit sluggish, but I haven't had time for myself to play it so will give a better opinion tonight.

It's a really solid demo and the biggest take away is that it's definitely Igavania. It feels a bit too floaty for me and my laptop definitely wasn't running it super well but it still felt solid. Everything in it is just about what you'd expect from Igarashi and it's exactly what we wanted. As a press demo it's unsurprisingly easy, not that early zones were ever particularly difficult, and it's just a short little level but it's got a few hidden things and if you wanted I'm sure you could waste time grinding out some of the other magic shards (a la monster souls) or whatever for more things to kill time doing.
It's a very early demo and is being stressed that this is not a beta or anything, it's just a working demo, so expect things to feel different in later versions and the final product but very optimistic for this now we've had some hands on time.

How big is the download? If it's small enough I'll give it a go tomorrow, if not I'll have to go into town and use the library's wifi to get it.

So I imagine most of you have heard the news but I'll post it anyway. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has been delayed to 2018, I really do wonder what this means for the Wii U version of the game as the NX will have probably been on sale for about a year once this is released, wouldn't surprise me if they cancelled the Wii U version in favour of an NX version. I'd probably quite happily switch as I doubt any other games will be releasing on the Wii U in 2018 and would be naturally be playing on the NX more than the Wii U so for myself at least it'd make sense.

So pretty great news now, Bloodstained has picked up a publisher in 505 Games, the same publishers working with Lab Zero on Indivisible. Biggest thing behind this is just that the game will be more widely available and see a wider push starting with the announcement video505 put together with IGA including a little peek at how the game's looking now.
