I'll put in the years for the ones I remember...

Commadore 64
Game Boy Colour (1999)
Nintendo 64
Playstation 1
Game Boy Advance
Gamecube
Playstation 2
Nintendo DS (2005)
Nintendo DS Lite (2006)
Nintendo Wii (2006)
Xbox 360 (2007)
Playstation 3 (2008)
Playstation Portable
Nintendo 3DS (2011)
Playstation Vita (2012)
Nintendo Wii-U (2013)
Playstation 4 (2013)
New Nintendo 3DS (2015)

No idea what happened to the C64, I lent the PS1 to a friend before going to uni and never seeing him again, the original 3DS broke, the Phat DS was traded in for the Lite and I have a second PSP for when my original one's disc protector fell off. And lord know's which 360 I'm on nowadays, red-ringing bleeders.

its pretty good, it plays all my games very well without any issues. couple of the slots are a little tricky to get the games out again, but still the best clone console to play the older games on.

2001 - Game Boy Advance
2002 - N64 (It was £30 in a shop window, and included around 13 games with it. I still play it nowadays so it was a pretty great purchase, even if no games were being made for it anymore)
2004 - Gamecube
2005 - DS
2006 - Wii
2009 - DSi
2010 - Xbox 360 & GBA SP
2011 - 3DS
2013 - Wii U

I think that's everything.

the controller is alright, but I do find it a little awkward to hold and use. luckily being able to use NES, SNES and Mega Drive controllers I just stick with them and use the retrons controller if I cant be bothered digging out one of the others.

I just grab the cartridge at both ends and pull it out like that, pushing down on the system with my hands as I do it. really only seems to be the NES and Famicom slots that have the death grip on my system, the mega drive and SNES is very easy to take them out. as long as the cartridge is pulled out by both sides then all should be fine.

Oh my god you have to stop saying speccy its making smile too much. My old best friend (we lost contact), had one and it pretty much filled summers year on year until I got my SNES and he got a Megadrive.

Daley Thompson's Decathlon changed the shape of my fingers and thumbs forever.

Some of these were shared with my brothers, and they may not be in exact chronological order, but:

- Atari 65XE (no C64 vs. Spectrum at our house!)
- NES
- Game Boy
- SNES
- Game Boy Color
- N64
- PS1 (loved the first Spider-Man game on that)
- GBA SP
- DS Lite (three of these: the black one, that was stolen from my work bag; the white one, that stopped working; and the lite (ha!) blue one that I still have)
- Wii
- 3DS
- Wii U
- New 3DS (my day one 3DS's Circle Pad wore away  )

There are some super impressive histories here! I knew mas's would be, though. ;)
