My PS1 knowledge is very limited, I didn't get one until the end of its life so I'm still finding stuff out about it. From what I do know about its games though I'd take;

Metal Gear Solid
Theme Park
Driver (or Driver 2)
Spider-Man 2

I'll probably tweak this list ever so slightly in the future, but for now it looks like this. In no particular order:

1) Tony Hawks Pro Skater
This is without a doubt my favourite game ever. Classic gameplay, fun levels and an iconic soundtrack, I could play this for years and not once tire of it.

2) Bomberman: Party Edition
This is the one i'd dust off when my friends came over to my desert island bunker. Full of unique levels, quirky characters. This, a 6 pack of vanilla coke and some friends sounds like a good night in to me.

3) Bomberman Fantasy Race
My guilty pleasure. Yes it may be slightly repetitive, I may not be able to nail the wall jumps consistently, and it may not even be the best Bomberman game on this list. But I love it.

4) Vib Ribbon (And every music cd known to man)
Anything that can be so unique and interesting, while being small enough to run off of the playstation's RAM will always get my attention. A charming game that morphs depending on the song played, it's only limited by the size of your ever outdated CD collection.

5) Gran Turismo
Now, racing games are my favourite genre. So of course this one has to be on my list. The grandfather of racing sims, it's one of the best racing games ever.

PS1

1: Digimon World

2: Spyro: Year of the Dragon

3: Digimon: Digital Card Battle

4: Crash Bash

5: Croc: Legend of the Gobbos

Honorable Mentions:
Digimon Rumble Arena
Spyro: Gateway to Glimmar
Spyro the Dragon
Tomb Raider
Rugrats in Paris
Rugrats Studio Tour

The PS1 was my console of choice back in the day, so I've got a ton of options here, which is why I have so many honorable mentions.

I loved Digimon World and Digimon Rumble Arena as a kid.

Looking back they seem like fairly flawed games now, Rumble Arena being outshined in particular by Smash.

Never too late to jump in Ironhide and was about time we had a new category.

So GBA.

1) Fire Emblem ... I was ridiculously lucky to get this game and went in very blind. Sure I have heard of the series before but never seen a copy then I went on a market and there was a store selling GBA games for £5 some boxed some not. Fire emblem was boxed so I got it on the basis of if I didn't want it I would be able to trade it for something. I still own it now and have finished it at least 7 times. Brilliant strategy permadeath just awesome.

2) Metroid Fusion. An awesome game very much like super metroid but on the handheld. When you look at all the mario and donkey kong games that came out and realised we basically got the SNES games slapped on to a GBA cart it was nice to see an actual sequel to one of my all time favourites.

3) Castlevania: Circle of the Moon... All 3 of the Castlevania GBA games are awesome metriodvania style games, I never thought I would see something as good as the PS1 Symphony of the night on a handheld but on the GBA we got 3 of them.

4) Pokemon Ruby .... yeah they might not change that much from game to game but I cant resist a Pokemon game, perfect RPG for pick up put down 5 minute bites of gameplay

5) Kuru Kuru Kururin ... Didnt think anyone else would mention this so happy to see it listed straight out of the gate.. awesome little stick twisting puzzler. Simple idea polished to perfection

I'm pretty limited with GBA but I'll give it a try:

Pokemon Fire Red/Lead Green - Doesn't matter which version. It's POKEMON and it's awesome.

Pokemon Sapphire/Emerald/Ruby - Again doesn't matter which version. It's MOAR POKEMON and it's moar awesome.

Dragon Ball Z: Legacy of Goku II - A fun action RPG set during the Android and Cell Sagas.

Mario Kart Super Circuit - Gotta haves me some portal MK!

NES Classics: Super Mario Bros - Is the GBA the only system from Nintendo to not have it's own proper Mario game (aside from VB)? Anyway, I pick this one since it's the only one I currently own and I'd consider it cheating to go outside of my collection :P.

So yeah. Not having much of a collection to pick from that's what I'd choose.

Kuru Kuru Kururin is one of the best blind purchases I've ever made, I could never get on it though as my little sister (who was about 6 at the time) was always playing on it.

DS

Mario 64 DS

It's awesome and still takes me a good while to finish, more so than the 3D Mario games that came after it. PLUS it has a Texas Hold'em game which I was totally addicted to back in the day, so I could easily waste a few months playing just that :P.

Pokemon Soul Silver

My fav Pokemon game ever made... remade with more awesomeness!!!

Dragon Quest VI

My fav of the 2 main DQ games on the DS. Took me a good 60 hours to finish it on the first playthrough, so again it would take up a nice chunk of time :).

Mario Kart DS

Up until MK 8, I considered this to be the best MK game out there. Such tremendous fun!

Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans

Another RPG I know, but the DS had a ton of em (and honestly, a top 10 list could be done made up entirely of RPG's for the DS lol), and this is one of my favs. Best DBZ game too imo.

For DS I'd go:
Last Window: Secret of Cape West
I love this game, even if you could maybe argue that the characters were better in the previous game this one improved on a lot. Gotta love Kyle Hyde!

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials & Tribulations
Personally, I think this is the strongest of the Ace Attorney series on DS. It neatly brings together characters and events of the past two games to a satisfying climax yet still leaves you wanting more.

Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors
Absolutely enjoyed this immensely and had so much replaying it and seeing I missed details that I skimmed over the first time. The characters are so fascinating and are surprisingly deep too. Would recommend this and its 3DS sequel to everyone.

Professor Layton and the Lost Future
Again, I feel like this finished off the trilogy beautifully. I mean the actual premise of the story is a bit out there (
a whole fake city built under London?!
) but the ending is so tragic yet moving. One of the most emotional bits in gaming out there.

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective
I didn't know really what to expect with this game when I first got it, but it was a great deal of fun. Some of the puzzles towards the end get fairly tricky, yet I don't remember anything truly frustrating so they got a fine balance. Its the characters again that sell this, helped by some of the smoothest animation on DS (Inspector Cabonella dancingly descending the stairs is silky smooth) which brings this to life.

I've got to say, a lot of these games I would never have played hadn't it been for ONM and the forums so I have to say thank you!
