Eh. I think Double Dash is just okay for multiplayer. I say this because it's easily the most opinion-splitting game I've ever played with anyone ever. My family love to play it, but my friends absolutely hate the handling. I guess it's a matter of which Mario Kart/karting games they prefer.

As for more multiplayer shenanigans, I found out that Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble is a great multiplayer title. It's essentially a mission-based Smash Bros game where the goal is to get the most points out of everyone by the end of the match. I'd recommend it, just for the novelty factor alone.

Double Dash is fun but I would much rather play Super Smash Bros. Melee's multiplayer. Although the 'problem' with Melee is that it's a lot more difficult for anyone who hasn't grown up playing the game to get in to. So it's less accessible. But ultimately a lot more fun.

Melee was the first Smash game I ever played and I loved it instantly I think I was 17 at the time. That and Super Mario Sunshine were the reasons I went and bought a Gamecube.
I am functioning within the established parameters.

Monkey Ball was one of the games I wanted for ages when I got a Gamecube. Finally got it nearly 2 years after getting the Gamecube and it is probably one of the hardest games on the system. The level design is pure evil sometimes and the control is so precise, although its impressive how the entire game is controlled with the analogue stick and how you can use that to do some crazy stunts on some levels. No wonder you see it in speedruns a lot.

My favourite Gamecube game has to be Metroid Prime though. Such a well designed game and its crazy to think how problematic its development period is. Playing it again on the Trilogy version only confirms that. Ended up getting pretty much every game I wanted to play on the Cube before the Wii and DS took over my gaming purchases, bar F-Zero GX which I got recently. Amusement Vision sure made some really hard but great games.

That certainly is a lot of games. Looks like you have a round dozen, and even a few games I've wanted to get.
There's something to be said for never selling a game. Still regret selling my Gamecube, even now.

That's a massive library, and probably puts the entire of my console collection to shame, not just the Gamecube stuff.

A game that I recommend for the Cube which you don't hear that much about is Gladius. If you want something a bit Fire Emblem like which wont break the bank give it a go, I think its on PS2 and maybe Xbox as well.

Well as you can see from that video I posted a couple of days ago (which is part 1 of a 3 part look at the Wii btw, part 2 was uploaded today [/cheap plug]), my Gamecube collection is... pretty pitiful compared to some of you guys'.

Kerr, I bow to your mighty collection.

I'm afraid to list my PS2 games, I had something like 197 at last count.

for me PS2 was one of those consoles I never activly went out of my way to collect for but yet I proberbly have more games than the cube because they just kept appearing in front of me on the cheap.

I have some interesting things for it though like all 4 of the Hack games/episodes.

I love the multiplayer in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! It's a shame, that there are not more Nintendo-titles which support LAN-multiplayer up to 16 players. There is no better feeling than throwing a blue shell and hear someone else screaming who is playing at another TV.

Sega Soccer Slam is also one of my multiplayer favorites on the Game Cube. I love those characters and the fast acrade-gameplay. :D

Sega Soccer Slam is one GameCube game I regret passing up. I look for it occasionally but it goes for crazy money.
