Yes but your increasingly eton mess avatars and thinly veiled posts as outlined by Al are more than enough

It's opinions like this from the owner of the site that makes me realise; living under a dictatorship can be pretty rough.

your constant need for attention is really starting to grate, we get it, you're a gooseberry fool furry, stop shoving it down people's throats or everyone will resent you even more than they already do.

You're a gooseberry fool adult, grow up.

Imagine if newspapers didn't print in columns but instead just went all the way across the page

Imagine opening up a pdf or word document and reading it at full screen width instead of 100% zoom

This is what you want

There's just as much blank space in wide screen, its just all mixed in with everything else which just makes it more obvious and lame.

Are you talking about your avatars too? The avatar dimension is so weird to me haha.

Yeah personally I'm a fan of the classic style too. I didn't like the new icons or how the white space was mixed in, but really I guess it doesn't matter considering we can change what it looks like.

Also, yeah Kaee, you didn't raise it (this time), but what did you think would happen when you popped into a conversation about attitudes to furries?

Can't stand widescreen myself since it means I have to focus on the left of the screen as opposed to the middle.

But yeah, the reason we have the different themes is to accommodate for different preferences so it really doesn't matter what any one individual thinks (like that gooseberry fool Rakoon strawberry shortcake).

I never bothered with the wide screen options, i got so used to the ONM format that it just seemed weird to have it any other way.

I'm curious, did both forums independently arrive at "gooseberry fool" for the swear filter?

I think that it's just the phpbb default.

When the forum started I suggested gooseberry fool using GRcade as an example, either that or it was the default, I don't know.
While we are here makes sure you edit the word filter so that "Snoops" becomes "Great British Pound Sterling".

I don't believe it's the default (although you have to ask OR about this sort of eton mess) since other swears are also desert based and there's a thread in the mod-room where people are literally just naming puddings.

I thought Ted was responsible for the swear filter on here. And he is (or at least was, idk) an active user on GRcade.

I don't get why some people insist on cursing all the time here anyways, especially when for the most part, the swear words used often do not even fit in with the context of what is being said.

This. That's one thing I preferred about ONM.

I liked the idea of using desserts that someone mentioned a while ago, mostly because replacing a swear with 'Gooseberry Fool' really tickled me.
This is the earliest reference I can find to gooseberry fool being used as a filter, so maybe c-m holds all the answers.

It's definitely not a default though, they are all manually made.

I was the one using the GRcade swear filter back on the old site.
