What Are You Giving
Whilst some of you may not know what to get your folks for Christmas, many of you may have already started buying stuff for them. I've nearly bought everything. Just need to think of something for my Brother, his Girlfriend and my Niece. So, what are you getting people for Christmas this year? Maybe you'll give us some ideas.
So far I have..
An XBox 360 for my Mum's BF (Partially paid for by my Mum, as I'm not that generous)
Some Jewellery for Mother (She asked for it)
Money for my Girl (So uncreative but I don't think she'll be bothered)
A 'Dog Selection Box, Stocking and Goody-bag' for my Dog
Money for my Bro, his Girlfriend and Niece (Want to get em' something but not sure what)
Nothing for my Dad, yet. I let my Bro think of something and pay towards it usually.
That's it at the moment. Doubt I will give anyone any ideas x)

Re: What Are You Giving
Thus far...
A Christmas-themed Yankee candle for my mum (Plus a cake-scented one. Effin' December birthdays, man)
Cosplay wigs for my middle sister
Lego Batman 3 for my nephew
A bunch of stuff for my girlfriend that I can't disclose here because she'll snoop
And when payday rolls around...
Topman/New Look vouchers for my brother/youngest sister (God bless them for being so easy to buy for)
Disney-themed clothes for my niece
Smellies for my eldest sister/brother-in-law (Must ask what they like)
A hamper of some description for my grandparents
gooseberry fool knows for my dad/step-mum
More stuff for the missus
My friends can get gooseberry fool, I'm not buying something for all of them. I'll get a round in or something.

I have got cards for everybody but no presents yet, I haven't got much money left so I hope I can afford something they want.

Re: What Are You Giving
So far, I have brought my oldest sister and her boyfriends present, Little Big Planet 3.
I have also brought Animal Crossing New Leaf for my youngest sister.
My other sister wants The Inbetweeners 2 and a necklace, going to have to buy those seperatly, I'm down to my last £10
I'm putting money together with my older sister to buy our parents present, I still don't know what we're getting them.
Not sure what to get my nieces, the two year old is going to grow out of whatever toys I get her pretty fast, and my other niece is only 9 months (I think, cba to count right now) so something to chew on will suffice.

Re: What Are You Giving
Got my Dad the new Foo Fighters album, not sure about my Mum yet.
Grandparents can have some chocolates or something.
My brother can go gooseberry fool himself.
Friends from uni are largely tight for money right now so they've said they'd rather not do presents this year so it'd probably suck for them if I then got them something.
Cards are dumb, I don't ever do them aside from a couple I draw up myself but beyond that they're a waste of money and time.

Re: What Are You Giving
I tell you what i'm not giving, and that's a John Lewis monty penguin plush.
I tried so hard to get one for a family member, but the sodding thing was always out of stock.

I can relate to that.JenovaPX wrote:My brother can go gooseberry fool himself.

Re: What Are You Giving
Getting my aunt two tickets to see Les Mis in London and my uncle a book, probably by Graham Hurley unless I find out he's read them already, and a nice bottle of whisky.

<Kaee> I think Met would give better sex than Hoyle

Re: What Are You Giving
I got my mum a teddy bear, a massive box of Haribo, and a 2015 diary and calendar. Hopefully that's enough. I got my Dad the Fairytale Of New York single because that's his favourite Christmas song and he's always looking for new records. I got a PS1 game for my brother because he likes the retro but the shop never put the disc in it for me so I'll have to go back tomorrow.

I give everyone a present, so long as they've been good of course!

Re: What Are You Giving
Gave a Scrabble tile keyring to each of my parents, bearing their initials.
Also made a bunch of cards for friends, was pleased how they turned out in the end, was going to stop after thinking the first one was terrible. I took a picture of it to be able to show people how badly my idea went, but thought it looked better in the photo. Spurred on, I made the other seven, and I'm glad I did, because they're some of the best things I've made. Just sad that I didn't take any pictures of them before they went off.

Wrathy: Water's not just a drink. I mean, you can't have a bath in lemonade, wash the dishes in sprite or flush the toilet with irn bru.
