Jesus gooseberry fool that map is huge.

Edit: oh ok so the towns and villages ect have been removed to stop any plot developing, fair enough.

This game is massive, its good to hear there is towns and NPC's in the overworld that they've taken out so they don't spoil anything relating to the story (post Link waking up of course).

At the start of this section I was like "oh, so the map does have a boundary after all, shame it looks so much like a climable surface".

I was wrong.

Would have been extremely odd if they weren't. Towns and Villages are some of my most anticipated parts of this game. Seeing the Koroks gives me hope we're going to see a variety of races all with their own places.

Also something to note during the Wolf Link Gameplay. They mentioned something about partners and buddies. Will be so awesome if we can get other people and animals to join our side.

An interesting way to handle things but makes sense, seems like a very Ninty way to go about things.

Goodness those few clips they've shown look fantastic as well, seems like your horse controls itself when fighting an enemy on horseback.

Well it seems like you can tame your own horse at points in the game (as seen in the trailer), so maybe you do get Epona and can then tame other horses should you wish, who knows maybe the horses will have differing speed stats? Not seen anything to say the horses have a stamina gauge yet.

It fills me with hope just seeing how enthusiastic Anouma is and knowing now that they've deliberately removed towns/villages for understandable reasons, I'm barely concerned at all.

Horseback combat does indeed look fantastic, while potentially teaming up against certain foes sounds pretty interesting to say the least.

Well we have the voice of that lady. Doesn't count as a sidekick but I think that won't be the only time we hear her during the game.

The body temperate stuff is going to be interesting, just hope that the demands on the player to keep track of stuff don't reach Xenoblade Chronicles X levels and that this new Zelda title can hold my attention for longer periods of time than Xenoblade did.

If not then it seems the advancement made in adventure games to move into the open world field may mean that it's not a genre for me anymore.

I feel the need to clarify a few internet rumors.

Yes, there are rupees in this game. Some were suggesting otherwise.

Similarly -- yes, there are towns as well.

Edit: I'm dumb.

I'm hoping for three full days of them replaying the starting area of Zelda until you're so bored of it you'll be glad you have to wait almost a year to play it.

They've got a Pokemon Go! Q&A session tomorrow which should shed some light on that. If they can translate the core experience of Pokemon to the real world and keep the gameplay engaging then it could be a big hit with smartphone gamers.

I'd be interested to see if they are going to be putting Gen 7 Pokemon in the game.

A shame Go's been getting averaging reviews so far but would be nice to see a European beta to see for ourselves. Also as far as I was aware it was just the original 151?

i am intrigued into this whole weapon/item durability system. i guess it allows things to be given to you early but i cant help wonder how this will go on throughout the game and if it will even be relevant half way through when i assume you get the master sword. but i guess there will be powerful versions of each weapon like the spear and two handed sword, etc. if its worth using them over the sword of evils bane

The master sword will work like a master ball in pokemon. One hit kill but breaks instantly and you will save it for Ganon.

It seems that most weapons have an upgraded version you can find throughout the game. I can't remember the first bows name but later you can find the 'Soldiers Bow' which increases your damage from 5 with the original bow to 14 with the soldiers bow. I'm hoping for this reason we don't get the Master Sword until the very end.

The only thing that worries me is the inventory space for weapons, they seem to break rather quick and it doesn't look as if you can carry all that much.

Weapons with the same name can also have differing stats, so the soldier's bow isn't necessarily 14 damage - it will vary. I imagine each named weapon has an average that the stats tend to be around, but I'm guessing.

I think it's also possible that the master sword might be entirely optional.
