Good to hear official word on a March window. Waiting another year is gonna rough. Getting excited about E3 the more I think about it. It's been a while since Zelda had the limelight at the show. Plus we have Treehouse live to look forward to. Would be great if Aonuma took out time to visit for interviews. I imagine everyone will be wanting to pick his brain about the game.
I am the reason, the answer and the problem.

Never say never, Sony/Naughty Dog released The Last of Us on PS4 a year after the PS3 version. The Wii U kind of needs at least another title to try and get a somewhat decent holiday sales, even if just for software (as lets face it the Wii U will probably struggle to hit the 800,000 units Nintendo have predicted considering the lack of software for the rest of its life), it might not be Skyward Sword that gets the HD treatment but I'm thinking something will, although considering its Zelda they've just delayed again they may feel Skyward Sword HD would be one of the better options to re-release. They could always give people an option of still using the Wii mote/nunchuck so it offers the same experience as first time round.
the wii u needs a better legacy than being the only console you can play all 3d zeldas on
Suppose there could be worse legacy's to leave. Although if there is going to be a remake/remaster of a GC/Wii game for the Wii U it probably won't turn out to be Skyward Sword HD anyway due to its control method. They'd probably see it as too much effort for this late in the consoles life.

Lets just hope treehouse doesn't go on for the normal 3 days then or we'll see the treehouse people beat the game months before we can even play it!

I expect a small taste of different areas if they do. One of my favorite parts of playing open world games are when you discover new towns or villages. Would love to see how they look in Zelda U.

The Legend of Zelda has been re-imagined as a Hong Kong Crime Drama in a new short film for YouTube.
Here's the trailer:

It's definitely one of the more interesting takes on the franchise... and it seems that Zelda has been more tacked on than anything but even still, I thought it was interesting enough to share.

Zeltik picks apart the Zelda E3 site. New Sheikah emblem that further resembles the timeshift stones from SS. E3 needs to roll around sooner because these hints and teases are killing me lol.

In other Zelda news, a new glitch has been found in WWHD which acts similar to the Super Swim from the original. Should probably result result in some sort of route change or time save ect, but Hyrule Castle Barrier, as ever, remains unskippable.

Playing through this now, following completing WWHD, which I hadn't really played since 2005.

I had forgotten how good WW was, and TP suddenly feels slow and a bit glum. Still love the eton mess out of it though <3

New Zelda book coming from Dark Horse Books, on the Art and Artefacts of the series. Sounds like it'll have artwork from Breath of The Wild as well which is pretty good. It hasn't got a UK release yet (February 21st in America) but as Hyrule Hystoria released over here I'm hopeful the same will happen to this.

The 3DS Direct has just finished, with some minor Zelda content.

4 new Zelda Amiibo are being released for the 30th anniversary (and will be compatible with Breath of the Wild), and Skyward Sword is coming to the Wii U eShop as seen here.

Hyrule Warriors Legends next DLC pack is out today featuring Spirit Zelda and the Sand Wand for Toon Link which you can see here.

Nothing particularly amazing, though those Amiibo do look nice...
Ever since joining the original ONM I've been a huge Nintendo fan (specifically Zelda) and am looking forward to some great discussions. I was previously known as Lego Master

2 hour BotW Analysis from GameXplain. Recommend watching this if you're crazy. Which I was. They actually do a fantastic job with everything. Lot of things we already know but still a lot of neat observations I haven't seen from other places. Including one part of the analysis where Andre tries to locate and pinpoint different areas of the map.

Still think that floating island is the only town in the game.

I watched about a 1/3 of it yesterday when I had chance, great effort from Andre and GameXplain though to go though all of the footage in so much detail.

Edit, just finished watching it and while there wasn't actually that many surprises (to me at least) the one thing that amazed me was when they were placing the locations of the towers on the map, this game looks to be enormous! I can't help but just get a bit of a Skyrim vibe from it, in the sense that as soon as I run out of the Shirne of Resurrection I just want to run and explore for a while before doing a bit of the story, before continuing to explore. It just looks fantastic.

Zelda X Ghibli

I am lost for words, this is pretty damn beautiful and only makes me yearn for a true animated series to happen.

That does look very nice indeed, isn't Breath of The Wild taking inspiration in the art style from Ghibli?
