When the heck is Shovel Knight out over here? That game looks god-tier. I want it I need it.

On the day I got my wii u I noticed the Capcom Dungeons and Dragons beat'em ups were on sale. Kind of wish I had bought them now. e-shop has the same appeal as wiishop for me, I like the look of it and the sound. I think I've actually spent a fair bit of time on it just looking at things.

Anyway I only have 4 big wishes for e-shop.
1) It is used to port games that never got a western release (all my money for Fire Emblem 6 English release)
2) Gamecube games (all my money for a downloadable Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance)
3) Releases have online play coded into them (Melee and F-Zero GX online oh my!)
4) More demos

I think the devs for Shovel Knight were posting regular updates about it on their website.

Stealth Inc. 2 looks pretty fun, I may end up getting that when it's released. Is there usually any kind of sales on new games? I don't want to buy it straight away only for it to go on promotion soon after.

Shovel Knight's basically the only eShop game I've wanted in forever.

When's Shovel Knight out? Also, just gonna say how disappointed I am at Atlus for making SMT4 digital only (even if it is only £17.99) but that said, that kind of shenanigans is to be expected of Atlus.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

Edit: Sorry for going over the top with the Atlus thing, it's just one of the few things that really gets on my nerves.

Waiting for Shovel Knight too. Interested in Lone Survivor at the mo, but will wait and see if it goes on sale. Was doing the same for Master Reboot, but now it's on sale I've got enough to play with other recent releases.

I hate how disc based releases are like the same price download... more really when You consider that some shop will be selling it at a cut down price.....

Surly digital releases should be like at least 5 quid less on release because they are saving all the money on printing and plastics etc

Shovel Knight is out in November, according to a huge banner on Yacht Club's site. Could always be pushed back, though.

Recently got a £25 eShop card for the Mario Kart 8 DLC bundle. Not sure what to do with the remaining £14 I have, but defo looking forward to Stealth Inc. 2, the Swapper and Shovel Knight! I kinda want eShop to have Steam style discounts as well because there are a lot of games on there, both disc and download, that I would like but are quite expensive, for example I would like Stick it to the Man or Retro City Rampage for around £5 rather than £6.70 or however much they are

Do you have Steam World dig ? its on offer right now I think around the 4.50 point and it gets rave reviews

Trine 2 is also on sale and a lot of people like it so you might want to give it a look personally I hate it but I know a lot of people who are in love with it

I have both. Steamworld Dig is on my 3DS and is brilliant but I don't really want to buy it again for my Wii U and I have played through all of Trine 2, but for some reason don't feel there's any replay value to it, even for just playing through again. I liked the gameplay mechanics and all, but didn't really like the story

That brings up another Nintendo eShop thing I dont like... I have a Wii u and 3DS and I have a ps4, ps3 and Vita. On the nintendo stuff if the games are on more than one system then they want you to buy it again for every platform you want to play it on.

I have a whole bunch of games I brought for the Vita through sonys shop that it turns out I can also play on either the ps3 or ps4 and I dont have to pay again as its "cross buy" and my account already owns it... This is something Nintendo really should do

Pretty good month for eShop releases. Played Angry Bunnies on Wii U for review and yeah... The cross-buy offer is sweet though, but not much of a long time given to take advantage of it. Curve Studios has made a fantastic effort on Wii U recently also. Really enjoyed Lone Survivor, Stealth Inc 2 is pretty fun, but incredibly tough from what I've played. Might look into getting The Swapper too
