Mainline game on the 3DS; a battle simulator or full 3D adventure on the Switch - that's being very expecting.
If Gamecube Virtual Console is ever a thing, maybe just port the two Orre games to tide everyone over, maybe including some Gen8 'mon if they've got some ready. That's very much expecting though.

Yes, I hope its a full and proper FIFA 18 so I don't need to buy it twice

I'll probably end up buying FIFA 18 if it looks half decent, last FIFA game I bought was 2013 for the Wii U.

Presentation? I thought it was just another direct type prerecorded thing again this year. The hype is starting for me if true

Not a presentation, but still looking as action packed.

Nintendo Spotlight sounds a better name than Digital Event, since Directs are technically that. And with two live tournaments to be watching as well as the usual Treehouse stuff, this E3 is looking a big one.

Hmm this from us nintendo twitter.
Join us during #E32017 as we bring you the latest on this year’s #NintendoSwitch and #3DS games, including #SuperMarioOdyssey! https://t.co/8eFVjiL6S3

Doesn't sound like we will be hearing about much if they are only going to show off what's in store for the rest of the year. Maybe a couple of third party games. Fifa steep nba2k. Plus Mario and what else is there left for this year

Ahh, feck, I'll be at work >,> Going to have to follow it through twitter. Stoked to see another digital event tho. Interesting they are focusing on 2017. But then again, we get regular directs through out the year now, so I guess this is expected.

All I ask is a few surprises, not just stuff we already know is coming.

Preferably big surprises, not just a new Mario sports game or some indie title.

The new Direct is all about ARMS with a Splatoon 2 trailer at the end.
I suppose that puts the Pokemon Direct rumours out of business.

Really hope we get an overview on how the traditional controls work also getting a Demo after the Direct would be pretty dope. Feels like people still don't know what to make of this game and a demo would be wise to help alleviate some of the doubt/concerns. Personally, I've been hyped since the reveal of ARMS. Think it has a lot of potential.

Probably will watch it, not that I'm overly interested in ARMS, just as well E3 is around the corner or I'd be feeling pretty disappointed in the direct line up for tomorrow.

I'll definitely watch it - I'm interested to find out more about Arms. Might give it a watch live.

Wasn't the last Direct about Arms and Splatoon as well?

The focus was evenly split between the two games and other news despite Nintendo stating a focus. Unless they plan on a surprise, this should pretty much be just ARMS with the Splatoon 2 trailer at the end.
Even so, it certainly shows they're hoping both will be strong games that gain a lot of sales.

It'll be interesting to see how many more characters, stages and modes that are actually in the game. Clever move to include a Splatoon 2 trailer with it so that will gain few more people to watch it, would be even better if there was a demo after the presentation.

Hopefully that means there won't be loads of Arms info at E3 so they can focus on new games.

It already seems like there's a new green jelly-looking character of some kind.
