It was the last shrine I found in the game.OrangeRakoon wrote: ↑Sat May 20, 2017 6:43 pmIt wasn't too bad I think, I just fast travelled to the stable and sprinted there the next time a blood moon happened
It was the only thing I had left.
It was absolute torture.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Had chance to put a few more hours into this today (after what feels like an age away from it), done plenty of shrines (probably about 10) and a handful of side quests. Reckon I'll be heading North to the Rito village this evening, then I'll be tracking down the last of the memories before beating Ganon.

Only shrine I have left is the one near Kakariko which I'm pretty sure is unlocked by the ball in Impa's house.
PM me if you decide to add me on 3DS or Wii U

You have to complete a few quests around Kakariko for the shrine quest to start, think it's 3 quests you have to do.
Anyway I've made it to the Rito village and it's gorgeous, as is the Hebra region, just wonderful to take in the views. I've also completed "From the ground up" as well, quite a nice ending. I'll probably explore some more of Hebra before taking on the last Divine Beast and getting the remaining 4 memories (I'm actually surprised I've found 8 all on my own!).

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
The bump for level 4 armour is larger than I was expecting, Hylian gone from 36 to 60 and the Stealth gone from 27 to 48. Wasn't expecting anywhere near those kind of numbers to be honest, thankfully both were pretty easy to upgrade as well, most used sets of mine as well. Really should try and get the horns, scales and scales shards from the dragons as well so I can upgrade the Champions Tunic, imagine the defence on that will be pretty good at level 4. Not really got much interest in keeling up all the armour sets. Is there a sure fire way to get the above items each time you see a Dragon?
Just about to take on the last Divine beast as well, after that I've got 3 memories to find before I plan on taking in Ganon. I'm currently sat on 88 shrines as well.
Edit, Divine Beast done, the bow you get for doing Vah Medoh is ace.

Well it's the best bow I've found so far. What's better, the high levelled Lynel bows?

I was already stacked on Savage Lynel bows with 5x arrow modifiers and Royal bows by the time I got it, so I just took it back to my house and left it there.

I put the three elemental greatswords on the wall (they glow!), and the three shield places are taken up with the three painted village shields. The only unique weapon on display is the bow

I'm currently at 100 shrines and 230 korok seeds (not that I'm going for all 900 of those, cause yahaha gooseberry fool that). If youv'e seen any of my recent videos you'll see how Iv'e left Central Hyrule alone for the most part, but I'm now ready to really close in on the castle. I'm considering approaching it either from the docks or down from atop one of the large spires, any reason why I shouldn't?

I've not given it much thought of how to enter Hyrule Castle, I'm just getting the dragon spirits horn shards so I can upgrade the champions tunic before tackling Hyrule Castle (although I've got a feeling the one memory I'm missing is in there, is the ending actually different if you have all the memories or not?).

Go for the docks. You'll know why when you get there. Frontal assault was gooseberry fool cool, but the docks offer more of a structured approach into the castle itself.Yubel wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2017 6:49 pmI'm currently at 100 shrines and 230 korok seeds (not that I'm going for all 900 of those, cause yahaha gooseberry fool that). Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
I took the direct approach to get the memory (and ultimately decided to pick up the Royal Guard weapons,
recipes and accidentally the Hylian Shield while I was there) and let's just say Mipha's Grace saw a lot of action.
On the other hand I recently re-entered the castle to track down some specific weapons for the Compendium and it's remarkable how a place I found tense and tough is now somewhere I can just drop in and out of without much trouble. Although it helps that I'm much better at avoiding Guardians now... Basically I'm reminded again how well this game trains you.

Well in the short time I had tonight I got the Hylian shield and the last memory, I'm now ready to defeat Ganon. Hopefully I'll get some time tomorrow evening to finish of this fantastic game.

You get the full normal ending plus an extra scene.Robbo-92 wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2017 7:36 pmI've not given it much thought of how to enter Hyrule Castle, I'm just getting the dragon spirits horn shards so I can upgrade the champions tunic before tackling Hyrule Castle (although I've got a feeling the one memory I'm missing is in there, is the ending actually different if you have all the memories or not?).

The short scene right at the end after defeating Ganon? Where Zelda says "Do you really remember me?" or the scene after the credits?euan707 wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2017 5:16 pmYou get the full normal ending plus an extra scene.Robbo-92 wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2017 7:36 pmI've not given it much thought of how to enter Hyrule Castle, I'm just getting the dragon spirits horn shards so I can upgrade the champions tunic before tackling Hyrule Castle (although I've got a feeling the one memory I'm missing is in there, is the ending actually different if you have all the memories or not?).
Anyway that is one game I did not want to end

Don't think whatever I choose to play next will be able to compare to The Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild.
Edit, clocked just over 102 hours with 94 shrines completed and goodness knows how few Korok seeds found (I know it's less than 100). Also looked up just which scene was the one for getting all of the memories.

I really need to start playing this again, I know I have one divine beast still to go, I stopped playing when Lego city came out and have not got around to playing it since,

Well, exactly 3 months on and I'm still playing through this game. You'd think after this long I'd get bored, but around 85 hours in and I'm still loving it.
Only have the Death Mountain Divine Beast left to do, but I'm currently exploring the south east beaches around the fishing village.

Ever since joining the original ONM I've been a huge Nintendo fan (specifically Zelda) and am looking forward to some great discussions. I was previously known as Lego Master

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Just finished it. Wow, what a game, what an ending! Well worth all the delays and waiting.
I got all the memories, but I've still got about 5 hearts to get and a whole extra stamina wheel (I think) to collect, but my map already looks covered in completed shrines. I guess I've got a load more to find still

I'm about 10 shrines out from 120 and am really starting to wander where the others are (shrine-quests aside) cause as you say, the map is covered in them. 300 koroks found too, cause when you notice a block puzzle/stone ring/hole in the ground etc. it's impossible to ignore.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
I have this game since April and I've played it for over 120 hours now. Got 64 shrines done and 3 of the divine beasts.
And I do have the Master Sword, and I'm about to go to Ganon now. I don't know if I'll make it but I'll give it a try!
EDIT: I actually managed to defeat Ganon with 3 of the divine beasts. But fortunately, there's still a lot more to do.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
I was just curious, how long it will likely take me to complete this game.
I'm seeing a lot of people's total playtime way over and above 100 hours. I previously completed (not 100%-ed but finished in the sense I saw the credits roll) WW, SS and TP. As a reference point I recently completed for the first time OoT (I've dabbled with it on and off since 2002, purchased it several times on different consoles, but got bored or distractied (usually rage quitted on the water temple) and only completed it from scratch for the first time a few weeks ago on Wii U eshop) - I got OoT on eshop early in the year as a kind of pallet cleanser for BotW, intended to finish it before starting BotW - but ended up getting a Switch / BotW day 1 and jumping between the two Zelda games (which isn't a bad way to live your life). Considering that though I've never beat OoT before, I know the game quite well it took me 50+ hours to finish over the course of a few months!
I've put about 20 hours in BotW but really haven't scratched the surface yet, I'm kind of at peace with the fact this is a game that will take me a long time to beat and I aren't particularly rushing. But if OoT took me 50+ hours (as another reference point I did once beat TP in under 30 hours but that was with my brothers help, and I think I would have shaved a lot of time off OoT if I got the bigdeon sword sooner than later - wasted quite a bit of time on the water and shadow temple bosses using the Master sword) WHAT WOULD PEOPLE'S GUESS BE OF HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE ME TO BEAT BotW?
