Looks like a clown sort of thing to me? Either way, excited to have a new character plus a new stage and arms. Looking forward to it! Rank-wise, I'm not up to 16 and trying to slowly make my way up. Played against someone who is rank 19 a few times over, only managed to beat them once but they friended me afterwards which was nice. They had 220 hours of ARMS playtime though!

220? Jeez..

Yeah, I thought I'd played a lot with 45 hours but 220 is nearly 9 full days worth of playtime

I respect the grind lol >,>
Is this doing what I think it is? If we really do get punished for attacking these then I have a feeling they're going to seriously mix things up. You could dictate the pace of the match.

I suppose you get punished for attacking and hitting it. Gotta try and curve your arm around it i suppose.

I absolutely love the character design. ARMS excelling with that front as usual. She seems really fun to play as which fits her theme as a candy clown. I'm most interested in the Nunchuck Arms tho, they look so cool.

EDIT:

So they are called Funchucks lol. Her bouncy play style is joyous to see.

Yeah, another great character design. Really interested to try out her arms, they look really cool. The reflecting ones look like a big upgrade over the Guardians

Played this online for the first time a few days ago. Crikey, it's a completely different game! I was roasted most of the time by the lads I was playing until we randomised. That threw up a double Master Mummy match, a character I'd never selected before. Used to the wondrous Ribbon Girl, playing as the hulking brute was a shock to the system; it was like moving through treacle. :?

Customisable controls are coming - it has been confirmed.
Get ready to remove the block button from the analogue.

...

And that'll be it... Probably.

Ridiculous button positioning, that was. The option to change the controls should probably always have been there, so happy to see that wrong being rectified. I'm thinking B for block. ;)

First time playing Lola and bodied a lv 7 CPU in dittos even tho I'm pretty rusty atm. She seems really fun, I can see her being a threat to fight against. Looks like a lot pro players are enjoying her too. Considering keeping her as a secondary for certain MU's (sorry Ribbon Girl >,>). Funchucks handle like a dream and I'm currently trying to unlock them for Twintelle.

I swapped more than just the guard. The guard is on B, with Rush on A. Change Target is now on the shoulders, which is more convenient. While I'm still occasionally trying to guard with the left thumbstick, I'm doing better with this new control scheme. After playing for a bit against Lola Pop with Byte & Bark, I found I had enough coins for a medium-limit Get ARMS game. Managed to get four of them, and two of them were revealed to be Lola Pop ARMS - meaning I've now got the Funchucks equiped with Byte & Bark.
Upping the CPU Level to 4 and the number of wins to three, I narrowly beat Lola Pop and narrowly lost to Spring Man. Quite a good return to the game, really.

I've managed to make it all the way up to Rank 20 8-) The last little grind from 19 to 20 and then above is so slow, you barely get anything for a win and lose the equivalent of about 3 wins for each loss. Hoping to make it onto the ARMS Dashboard of the top 200 players at that time, I recognise a few names on there from players I've played. Definitely want to try a tournament and see how I can do lol

ARMS 3.2 Update incoming, looks like we're getting achievements and possibly a new character? Looks like a metal or robotic version of Spring Man, and more different than a new skin as the fans in the crowd are also changed. We'll have to wait and see though, but won't be a long wait!

Cheers, I just find myself having periods of really getting into ARMS. Managed to go max bar 20 as well now, so the only way I can go is down

Twintelles can be really hard to play against sometimes, especially the ones that manage to time their shields perfectly.

If you want to get into any of the scenes there's places like Up in Arms, Fellow in Arms and Arms Punch Club you can follow on Twitter and their respective Discords. Also loads of Pro players are on there too. I would be more involved but with lack of time there's not enough commitment I can put in.

As for the Update, having an achievement style system is long overdue lol. Also not sure what think of that Evil Spring Man dude. Seems a bit lazy to have clone type characters imo. I love this game for the unique designs. It's like they're tying to be SF or something >,>

So it's safe to say Arms now has plenty of content?
Been waiting to get it until there was enough content.

The ARMS Dashboard has been updated and I've made it onto spot number 49 in the world, actually so pleased with this. Honestly pleased that all the time I've put in has come off lol
