Looks like a clown sort of thing to me? Either way, excited to have a new character plus a new stage and arms. Looking forward to it! Rank-wise, I'm not up to 16 and trying to slowly make my way up. Played against someone who is rank 19 a few times over, only managed to beat them once but they friended me afterwards which was nice. They had 220 hours of ARMS playtime though!

220? Jeez..

Yeah, I thought I'd played a lot with 45 hours but 220 is nearly 9 full days worth of playtime

I respect the grind lol >,>
Is this doing what I think it is? If we really do get punished for attacking these then I have a feeling they're going to seriously mix things up. You could dictate the pace of the match.

I suppose you get punished for attacking and hitting it. Gotta try and curve your arm around it i suppose.

I absolutely love the character design. ARMS excelling with that front as usual. She seems really fun to play as which fits her theme as a candy clown. I'm most interested in the Nunchuck Arms tho, they look so cool.

EDIT:

So they are called Funchucks lol. Her bouncy play style is joyous to see.

Yeah, another great character design. Really interested to try out her arms, they look really cool. The reflecting ones look like a big upgrade over the Guardians

Played this online for the first time a few days ago. Crikey, it's a completely different game! I was roasted most of the time by the lads I was playing until we randomised. That threw up a double Master Mummy match, a character I'd never selected before. Used to the wondrous Ribbon Girl, playing as the hulking brute was a shock to the system; it was like moving through treacle. :?

Customisable controls are coming - it has been confirmed.
Get ready to remove the block button from the analogue.

...

And that'll be it... Probably.

I genuinely wasn't expecting them to ever change that but here we are. My left thumb is very happy with this news >,>

Ridiculous button positioning, that was. The option to change the controls should probably always have been there, so happy to see that wrong being rectified. I'm thinking B for block. ;)

Think my fingers are too used to it now for a change at this stage...shame it couldnt happen earlier!

First time playing Lola and bodied a lv 7 CPU in dittos even tho I'm pretty rusty atm. She seems really fun, I can see her being a threat to fight against. Looks like a lot pro players are enjoying her too. Considering keeping her as a secondary for certain MU's (sorry Ribbon Girl >,>). Funchucks handle like a dream and I'm currently trying to unlock them for Twintelle.

I swapped more than just the guard. The guard is on B, with Rush on A. Change Target is now on the shoulders, which is more convenient. While I'm still occasionally trying to guard with the left thumbstick, I'm doing better with this new control scheme. After playing for a bit against Lola Pop with Byte & Bark, I found I had enough coins for a medium-limit Get ARMS game. Managed to get four of them, and two of them were revealed to be Lola Pop ARMS - meaning I've now got the Funchucks equiped with Byte & Bark.
Upping the CPU Level to 4 and the number of wins to three, I narrowly beat Lola Pop and narrowly lost to Spring Man. Quite a good return to the game, really.
