Nope, although I don't particularly want one. I never had a SNES, but my first console was a NES. It's the NES mini I want.

Which is lucky because they seem to be out of stock already anyway.
I did have a SNES (but not many games for it), but I think I would possibly still want one of these even if I didn't. I didn't have a mega drive, but I still loved and played the eton mess out of "Mega Drive Ultimate Collection" on 360 and never owned a NES but enjoyed the NES mini too. There is an element of my wanting the SNES mini 'cause nostalgia and I am excited to hold something that is roughly the same as the original controller; but I'm mostly excited about this because there's loads of tier 1 games I've never played and unlike purchasing them off e-shop I'll get to play them as they were intended to be played. Personally I'm more excited for this then I was for the Switch or anything else gaming related for years.

Don't really know why the NES Mini still isn't on the market anyway, I know it was only meant to be a temporary product but with how insanely well it sold you'd have thought a few more batches wouldn't have hurt.
They aren't really made to make money, they're basically elaborate publicity stunts to keep Nintendo relevant and get people to buy Switches when they're available.

They're cheap and a one off sale, there's no way to buy more games etc so most of the cash won't even go to Nintendo, it goes to the hardware folks. Personally I'd get the SNES launch out of the way then next summer just increase the price to cover the effort and dump a few million of both on the market for the sake of meeting the demand. Nintendo are bound to be aware of how annoyed people are getting at their availability.

I would love to be able to buy one of these but its not looking likely I will be able to due to the preorders sold out everywhere, like amiibo I find these shortages extremely annoying

Rumours are pretty rife for N64 Classic Mini - man I would love that - please be true.

Also seems the NES classic is coming back in stock

OR will be happy, if he manages to get one that is. Naturally the scalpers will be out in force once again.

Everyone knows how to download roms, it doesn't make a NES/SNES mini less appealing to someone that wants to buy the hardware.

Also nearest I can tell there are no new shipments of the NES mini, just some straggling units lumped in expensive bundles.

I had a NES mini but I gave it away, now with there being a SNES mini I want to buy a NES mini again so I could have both, sadly unless I want to pay way over rrp its not looking likely, N64 mini would be amazing!

Hacked to play SNES ROMs then if you need it spelling out... Yes it can SNES games from Nintendo's eshop but half of the SNES games I own and wanted to play never ended up in there.

So Nintendo have told people not to pay over the RRP (maybe they'll try and meet demand), NoE also tweeted that the NES Classic is coming back next summer.

Yeah looks like they've gone back on discontinuing the SNES classic after Christmas too. It makes sense, while the don't make a ton of money people are getting really, really annoyed at how hard Nintendo makes it to buy their stuff. At the very least they'll make a few quid, sicken a load of scalpers and earn a big dollop of good will.

Great to see Nintendo are finally listening to fans, the scalpers literally ruined amiibo collecting so it's nice to see the NES and SNES mini will not have ludicrous price tags.

Happy that more people [potentially] are getting to play the NES / SNES minis and I gooseberry fool loathe scalpers, but for me personally it would have been quite handy if Nintendo under supplied as I have preordered a few extra SNES Mini's which I was hoping to make some money on, assuming there would be few units made and a high demand.

But worst case, the extra I purchased will make great gifts.

Anyway, being looking forward to getting my hands on this - not long now :D

I've been nervous the past few months even though amazon confirmed the preorder back in June and have been continuously checking my messages for fear they will cancel the pre-order from over-demand.

Thankfully it said it was finally dispatched tonight after much anticipation and ready for a morning delivery as well! Woohoo! :D
