Just hit 100% complete. Suffice to say I really like this game.
Of the four ultimate challenges, 1 is by far the hardest. I did 2 on my second attempt, and 3 + 4 first time. Still definitely challenging though!

I recall seeing something that said 'story' DLC will be released in 2018, can't remember what else it said though.

Edit, beat the mid boss of world 2 at my second attempt and got a new hero in the process.

Yeah there is already a season pass (that I've not bought, they've not said anything else about what will be in the DLC)

Completed the first world boss and it was certainly fun and quite a bit easy compared to some of the later world 1 battles.

Errrr, world 2-8? Seriously, getting beaten in a few rounds as they seem to be able to hit me for 180 damage, 150 critical hit and then sending me flying off the edge. Any tips? Even tried putting it on easy mode to no avail.

I went for Mario, rabbid Mario and rabbid luigi for that battle and mainly concentrated on one slab rabbid (not really their name but I call them that) at a time, dashing into them whenever I got the chance to. also kept the rabbid luigi back near the starting area of the battle and attacking from long range with the rocket if the slab rabbids ever got to close to my other two. getting rid of the smaller ones also makes things a little easier when taking out the big ones.

Literally just finished that level now, took me a few more goes but it seemed to be a bit of a difficulty spike, oh well onto the second worlds boss. Thankfully the second battle was nowhere near as bad.

Edit, second world boss done, take it now the two world bosses I've faced so far have had 3 stages to them it'll be the same in the remaining worlds (of which there only looks to be 4? Or is it typical Mario where you finish 4 worlds and then the last world is unlocked?). Seems to be hinting the world boss of world 3 will be that fantastic singing Rabbid though, can't wait to face that one!

There are only four worlds, although finishing world 4 isn't /quite/ everything in the game.

I like the bosses having stages, they feel like proper boss fights. How do you know about the singing rabbid? That was a complete surprise to me!

Wasn't it in one of the trailers they released? If it's the same one it definitely has vibes of the Great Mighty Poo about it.

Up to world 3-6, still find it annoying how the Rabbids with the various style of slabs can take you out in a turn if they gang up on one character. Still enjoying my time with the game though.

Wonder if its too soon to get DLC info in the direct tomorrow?

You should make sure to always be out of their movement range. You can use the tacticam to check how far they can move if it helps

Didn't even think to check if it shows the enemies range of movement, will keep that in mind when I try world 3-6 later.

It's a bit awkward to use, but if you hit y (I think) when a movement range is highlighted it will "lock" it so you can scroll around with it still displayed.

Certainly helped a little in the first battle of world 3-7, although Rabbid Peach came through strongly for me in the end defeating the last two enemies on her own. How you're meant to do that battle in 4 turns is beyond me though

The more I play this game the more I feel like I'll have had my fill when I've completed it, still enjoying it (the writing and music are both spot on) but not really enough to go and 100% it afterwards. The DLC will have to be really tempting for me to buy it when they release it. I'd still rate it a 1.5 in the other thread and easily reccomend it but there's probably a reason I don't play games like XCOM too often.

Also feel a bit silly for not realising that Tom Phan who Beep-O keeps talking about is Phantom rearranged, hinting at the boss of world 3.

Double post but oh well.

Anyone else have the game crash on them during the world 3 boss? (Which is a superb boss by the way) I was just starting on stage 3 of it when the game had to close because of an unknown error :( was hoping to get it done before I had to go to work but looks like it'll have to wait till later.

Well I got through it second time with no problems, can't praise that boss enough though. Songs overly catchy as well. Onto world 4 then!

The game is now the best selling third party Switch game, not bad for a game that has only been out for less than a month.

mini boss of world 4 down, took a couple goes to beat him. meant to do that in 3 turns to get the perfect ranking, i just missed it with 10 turns.
