Anyone had any weird charging issues with the right Joycon? Put mine on charge for a while but it still was saying low battery. Tried resyncing it and it instead said about half battery, but the second I reattach it to the Switch it says low battery and doesn't say it's charging.

I'm gonna leave it for a few hours 'charging' and see what happens - kinda odd though.

Edit: Taking them off now and it's fully charged, no clear problem. Looks like it was charging, but the display for the charge was being weird.
Ever since joining the original ONM I've been a huge Nintendo fan (specifically Zelda) and am looking forward to some great discussions. I was previously known as Lego Master

Snake Pass is very good, and I like the unique control system, but I have yet to master it. Almost every time I play, I always manage to keep coiling up and not moving in the direction I want to at certain points.
Have you tried playing with the other control option? Makes moving a little easier but you'll have to use grip more often for finer control. I use default for this purpose. Sometimes it can be incredibly frustrating as the physics don't always feel like it works. I'll try coiling around bamboo and just slip off immediately even tho I was barely moving. When it works the way you want, that's when this game shines. Finding everything in a level is genuine challenge which is really fun.

Snake Pass is good fun, I completed it a couple of days ago. Not sure I'm willing to 100% every level (I've done about half of them). If they patch in the time trials from the other versions I might be drawn back. It's also interesting to see the trophy list for the game as there are a few related challenges that aren't in the Switch version.
Wasn't aware that this had time trials. I'd be interested in seeing some speed runs of this game.

Nah, I want to learn and use the control scheme as I think that's a big part of the game's uniqueness and charm. I have yet to come across an instance where I find the controls truly frustrating, but if I do I will probably switch over just for a little bit

For the placing of stickers we could be allowed to put them on the background with the ability to rotate and resize as we pleased, though that would probably require some specialised wallpapers that were more scenes for those who like to go all-out with it.
As for the game itself... It could work the same..? After all, it's just one button to press. The machines themselves will stay functional, and possibly even get larger. Of course, I'd still prefer to see my idea of an open world activity game set on Wuhu Island be real, and that could be a way to unlock stickers and such.

Shame I really quite like the service and it is quite generous with free badges. Maybe might see it come to the Switch once they eventually add themes.

But how would you show off the badges? Maybe you could have an online collection to publicly display them or something. But on a side note, having Badges used as a trophy/achievement system would be pretty cool >,>

I bought Kamiko at the weekend (it's great) and Puyo Puyo Tetris yesterday (it's also great). That means I now own 9 switch games. Not bad since release I reckon!

tbf it is arguably that good so i would not blame you at all
also out of curiosity, what's Fast RMX like? It's one of the few Switch games that interests me currently, and I've been missing F-Zero

It's an enhanced port of the WiiU game Fast Racing Neo in pretty much the same way Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is - the changes aren't gigantic but it is the definitive version.

The game is very much aimed at people who miss F-Zero, and the lack of weapons means it plays a lot more like F-Zero than that other futuristic racer Wipeout. Aesthetically it is a lot closer to Wipeout though. While it looks shiny and suitably futuristic, the game lacks the character of F-Zero, notably when you only pick your vehicle with no concept of drivers.

The actual racing is fast, fun and tightly-controlled (you can remap the buttons as you like which I did immediately to make it feel a lot better and closer to the wiiu controls). The gimmick mechanic that sets Fast apart is colour switching, where you can only boost if you match the colour of the boost pad. This works really well and is satisfying to do while racing, and it adds to the gameplay rather than distracting. My main complaint is probably that the tracks don't really go far enough with it - you never have to pull off much in the way of quick switching or complicated patterns.

For F-Zero fans RMX is definitely better than the WiiU game thanks to them making hero mode accessible after beating each grand prix. This is the bonus mode where boost doubles as health, making the game play very much like F-Zero.

So yeah, it's decent.

I can second OR's opinion, Fast Racing Neo was great on the Wii U, and definitely worth it for the Switch

100% completed Snake Pass last night. It's so rare for me to do this with games these days. Aside from a few bumps in the road it was a delightful experience from start to finish. There's room for so much more and really hope we get a sequel in the near future because it could be something really special.

Does hitting all the totems unlock anything? I know it's a trophy on the PS4 version but I haven't seen if it actually does something.

Any bonus for 100%ing either?

I just want to say to anyone who has not purchased a comfort grip that I highly recommend getting one, I have been using it for a while now but today while playing I needed to charge my joycons so I had to use my charging grip and really noticed the difference, it was like going from driving a Bentley to driving a Audi, still good but not to the same standard

Important News: Monster Hunter XX confirmed for Switch!

Or at least, in Japan at the moment. Chances are it will most likely be localised for release in the west.

Goddammit I thought I'd got the news in first :(

Really happy with it though, I've said from the start that Monster Hunter will be a perfect fit for the switch.
