Animal Crossing

I've recently started playing Animal Crossing New Leaf again, and just wanted to know how many people out there with 3DSes were interested in picking it up again.

This can be a handy place to organise meetups and trades, or whatever.

Ever since you mentioned to me about the Lefty Lucky Cats, I managed to get one to appear in Nookingtons. I went ballistic.

I'm still getting over the departure of Mitzi. By some spooky coincidence, I have had her in pretty much every single one of my Animal Crossing villages in numerous different incarnations of the game. This is the only one where she decided to up and leave; not without sending me her picture through the post.

If only Club LOL had a bar to drown my sorrows in...

Phil the Falco-lookalike tried to leave my town, but I used my mayoral powers to ban him from ever leaving. If he ever left, I would be heartbroken. Now he never will, gwehehe.

My sister stole two of my villagers, but they were my least favourite villagers so I'm not too upset.

New Leaf is pretty much the only game I play most days :)
Well I didn't have much free time today, catching up on my town now, shame the shops are closed, I still need a lot of the spooky furniture.

I still go on New Leaf from time to time, nowhere near the amount when it first came out. Considering how many hours I've spent on it (weirdly I just love walking around my town, listening to the music and sounds) I bet my towns pretty poor in comparison to some of yours.

@LostNoob, if you want I could always order you the spooky furniture you need and you could pick it up whenever, can also order you all the masks you need for giving the villagers a fright! To my shame I've never even played New Leaf online :( deep down I'm still so worried about grass wear and desertification like on Let's Go To The City. My town never recovered from multiple loads on the same day and infrequent online play.

I only play animal crossing new leaf every 3-4 days a week & since ive been doing that my grass has grown back :D i could actually get rid of my paths now but i wont as it helps people look round my town if they visit. Maybe playing it every 3-4 days is the key to keeping your grass as well as having the beautiful town ordenence.

Also playing this way helps if i get a new game as i can play the new game for 3 days without visiting AC:NL but play AC:NL on the 4th day.

That reminds me I haven't touched my Gamecube save file in a while now, I'm never going to get those NES games at this rate (they are terrible 50hz conversions but still).

I'm addicted to checking my hybrids are okay and none of my villagers move out. I dont even like some of them, its just because I dont want to disrupt the town layout or lose some of my rarer hybrids like the purple pansies if they do relocate and some newbie comes and plops their home on top of it all!

I kind of know the feeling, my small fruit orchard makes me a nice 100,000 bells every time I harvest. One day a new resident decides to move into said orchard making about 4 trees disappear. He's lucky that he's a better villager than some I have living in my town, he's called Roscoe and looks like new leaf's answer to skyrim's shadowmere.

I put my hybrids around PWP's, buldings & around the edges of my town therefore no animal can put there house on my flowers. The only hybrid flower I need is purple pansies, they don't seem to be producing purple pansies :(

I haven't touched New Leaf for the best part of a year. Phenomenal game though. May come back to it so I can go to people's towns and draw penises with a shovel.

I traded New Leaf in after about two months. It just got to the point where playing was more like an obligation than anything else. Never did finish my house, and I do kind of miss O'Hare. That guy was the best.

I am still on the look out for Black roses.

The reason I still play New Leaf is the sudden increase in faster tempo main games .. atm the puzzle progression and strategy have taken a back seat and they've been replaced with Bayo2, Hyrule Warriors and Destiny. New Leaf provides a chance to catch my breathe.

Oh yeah, I already mentioned the black roses ( I'll pay a high asking price if necessary  )

I've turned all my black roses into gold ones. If I see any more, I'll give you them in return for any piece of furniture.

I still play it from time to time, mostly to check if Redd or Guillver are there.

Unfortunately yes it's true. I plant my Hybrid flowers round public work projects & other buildings then they won't get destroyed. Villagers can also put there house where trees were destroying your trees. That's one thing that sucks about this game.

I must be one of the few people not to bother with hybrid flowers, I think I may have some hybrids but I don't think they are anything special.

I enjoyed playing this game with others, but I simply couldn't get into the whole thing of perfecting my house and town. It took way too much effort to make money.

Still play this every day, as I have a town which I'm happy with and don't want to disrupt that.
I'm mostly just working on getting all the badges now as that's all I have left to get.

I have an unhealthy addiction to Animal Crossing, recently though i've managed to keep my 'New Leaf' playtime to only a few hours in the morning. I find it incredibly relaxing and a great way to start the day.

I used to watch the News first thing in the morning but it only made me incredibly angry about the world, now i can wake up and feel vaguely optimistic about the day ahead thanks to a small doses of this.

Tom Nook is still a hateful money grabbing bedfordshire clanger though...
