Re: Animal Crossing

I outlined an idea for the Switch version in my blog which I hope to expand on. The exact words I used-
If it can expand upon what New Leaf gave us, and fix certain issues with Personal Works Projects, than that will be good. The idea that the town was growing and more shops opened over time worked well, but they felt a bit cramped within that street. Allowing all of that back into the town, or having a separate area that you would own that serves as an urban location, would help with the space issues and finally break the barrier that the series has been trying to and allow greater customisation of our towns. Rather than have us move to a new town that's struggling, we are instead prospecting for a place to start a new town - with the help of Isabelle, of course. In a slight change, the rural part of town no longer has a beach. That's for the urban area. We place where our house and the town hall will be in the rural area, and get our first two shops opened in the urban area. We can place areas for residents to build their houses when they move to the town. The idea behind this is expanding the mayor role of our character by starting the town, not just picking up where the last one left off. And by expanding the town into rural and urban parts, it allows for a lot more space overall.
I know it's a pretty outlandish idea, but this is all about expansion of ideas with the power granted of the Switch.
Would it be doable while still sticking to the main idea of Animal Crossing? I would hope so, but what do you think to my idea?

I'd like all of that. Although I'm not sure about removing the beach from the rural area.

Weren't there different levels in the towns in Happy Home Designer? I'd like to see that in the next proper game instead of having it all flat. Also getting rid of grass erosion and being able to put down proper paths. I'd also like to see tweaks to improve the placement of PWPs.
PM me if you decide to add me on 3DS or Wii U

The beach being in the urban area instead of rural was inspired by holiday destination towns like Blackpool, I admit. Maybe there could be a beach in both places with different things around each?

Same plus I don't want More to move seems I invited him in using his amiibo card.

@DarkRula I like your idea but definitely need a beach as it's good during summer for the big bugs & sharks.

Thanks, Wiimote.
As explained, the beach would have only been moved from the rural area to the urban one. In my view, both rural and urban are yours. They are part of the same space. Though of course it would be two maps. The river would extend from the rural area to the urban area, which would then merge to the sea. And that is where the beach would be. Or, as I suggested in my last post, both rural and urban areas are side by side, with each having a beach that has different things to do.

It's amazing how much trash is littered around my town. Shirts, gyroids, furniture, pitfall seeds, and even a pair of glasses.
Most of it has now been picked up and sold off, thrown away, or put in my house.
Finally got started on some of the initiative stuff for CAT tokens, and now have 20 of them.

As for my Dream Address, first time it's been updated in who knows how long.
6A00-003E-20C2

I'm still working out parts of the town itself, got a few trees to move and such, gonna plant a few more bushes.
And I also find it weird that I have three villagers with birthday's within a week of each other. Not that I ever attended any of them.

I've completely lost count of fortune cookie items. Don't even know how many I have, and haven't even tried for any in ages.
Come to that, I haven't checked in with my town for a month or more.

To be honest I just really want a Switch Animal Crossing game, would be amazing if it got announced at E3 this year with it releasing at the end of the year, or maybe early 2018 if Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 do launch at the end of 2017. Even though I've far from completed Animal Crossing New Leaf I've still got my fill and this is why I rarely check my town anymore, just not going to see anything new.

Bigger maps with more diverse landscapes. Nintendo must have seen how creative people get with customizing their towns by now so more tools to help us do that would be cool.

Yeah, the bigger the better in my opinion. Plus it'd be great if the relationships with your townsfolk is expanded upon, as it can get a bit formulaic in what they say

Enemies from Nintendo games would be pretty hilarious. Imagine having Koopas in your village or Bokoblins lol.
