it's the 1st November way too early before putting up your decs yet.
Um... Tell that to the movie channels, who've had Chrismas films on all through October.
It's madness, I tell you. Madness.

That sounds genuinely interesting Richard - so you tried living in a property you rent out for a week?

There's a house near my partners place that already has all of their Christmas decorations up, and has done since before Halloween. There's a big reindeer in their patio and a giant santa climbing down the side of the house. I also went past a place yesterday that had their tree up in the window, as well as a pumpkin.

It was just for three nights so not a whole week, we were talking about the programme and they said I could try it out while they were away at a wedding, the property was actually the first ever rental we purchased so we overspent on it and the kitchen and bathroom are of a better standard that I have in my own home, the couple that rent the property are really lovely hard working people, they keep the property in excellent condition and have never missed paying the rent on time.

My issue is with some people that live in the area, I assume they are council tenants and are claiming benefits thus making it free for them to live there, I assume this because they seem to have no regard or care for anyone else, loud music, dogs barking, graffiti, litter, messy gardens, drinking in the street, spitting etc, before anyone says anything I am not saying all council tenants are like this and people on benefits but there seems to be a percentage of people like this in that area, I find it very unfair on my tenants and others in the area that go to work, pay there bills and want a nice life that they should be forced to live among people like that.

I did not go with the view of looking down on people or thinking I am better than them, rather the opposite as things have been going quite badly for me of late, I have had a patch I would say of two - four years of massively overspending and now the money has ran out, the rentals are down to just four and have had to be remortgaged to free up money to continue property developing (buying and selling) so on paper I own therm but in reality now the bank owns them, unless we can pull through its possible we could end up living somewhere similar.

I live among people like that in my street, but i don't think any of them are claimants.

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions about them being on benefits/not working (and of course many people claim benefits and still work) - there are bad people everywhere.

Speaking of the people on my street, my neighbour's sodded off and left his dog to howl yet again, been forced to listen to an endless high pitched whine now for around 6 hours. :x

The house 2 doors up leave their dog in the back garden when they're out and it just barks constantly.
I'm tempted to break in and put myself out of its misery.

Some dogs are indeed a pain in this regard. Often my dog will bark to be let out into the garden, then he just goes out and barks for no discernible reason. He has a vendetta for foxes so maybe he's paranoid, thinks he can hear them, so goes out and yells. Around this time though it's usually to bark at fireworks. After 10 years he still doesn't understand them. As owners though, I think some just get used to it and put up with it, even if it's annoying for others.

After a doggy themed thursday of disturbance, my neighbour decided yesterday to engage in some DIY, cue lots of drilling and hammering. :x

I took my niece and nephew to see the new Pokémon movie yesterday.

If, like me, you enjoy reliving your childhood traumas, I heartily recommend going to see it. Not only do you get to witness all the most heartbreaking scenes of season 1 in glorious HD, but as an added bonus, you also get brand new scenes to kick you in the dick!

Went to Morrisons to buy Despicable Me 3 on Blu Ray.

Morrisons only stocked the 3D Blu Ray edition.

I feel like that unlucky guy meme right now.

Found myself in the church of the holy pokemon today.

Why do i believe that this was indeed the case? Check out the following pic i took of one of the stained glass windows...

That centre window is most definitely a Pokeball!

99% settled on the deck I'm taking to the Pokemon European International Championships in London this Friday/Saturday. It's going to be a great few days with some of the highest calibre players of the game from around the world in attendance. Very excited! I don't expect to do brilliantly but the experience will be phenomenal.
