I've got a few including Cobra from Gladiators (he was promoting Natwest bank for kids for some odd reason!), Jamie Cullum (very nice dude and actually very short lol!), Mickey Mouse, Garden Force (was a big fan when i was a kid), Stuart Cable (i went for my brother but i had a photo with him. Was a nice guy) but my most prized one is one i've had for years. My mam and dad sent a letter off to the Queen fan club. I was two at the time and while i couldn't string a sentence together (late bloomer and all that jazz) when a Queen video came on i knew every word. So, in the post i had a letter back saying thanks and how all kids seem to be two when getting into Queen and one dad had registered his baby at five hours old! The P.S reads "as Freddie liked her picture so much he's sent her a signed photo." Whether or not he actually saw my photo i have no idea but in a photo frame there is Freddie's autograph which i love. Been in the same frame for about 25 years. It has faded a bit but it's still there :-) My dad teases me and says it's his- yep not happening! So yeah, that's mine. I do have more but they're deep down in a box somewhere.

That is seriously cool, any chance of us seeing a pic of it?

I've met both Paul Savage and Emma_Pollock but didn't ask for autographs since I place no importance in someone writing their own name as if signing a legal document.

the only autographs i've ever received have been either at gigs, or disneyland. 2cool. i have a bunch of signed albums though including paramore, maximo park, everything everything and a bunch of others. i also have an austrian death machine poster signed by tim lambesis (vocalist from as i lay dying and austrian death machine) who is now in prison for hiring a hitman to assassinate his wife. wut.

this is probably my favourite; i met we are scientists when they played bristol last year and they signed the set list for me. aww yis.

Had a few more successes recently so i figured now was as good a time to post them as any.

First up, i received a signed card from F1 race winner Thierry Boutsen...

...and secondly, a signed photo from former US President Jimmy Carter.

A US President, pretty impressive. How do you even go about getting that?

The trick is knowing where to find the necessary contact details, i found his by looking up a place called the Carter Center.

Autograph wise I have:

Charlie Campbell (A good friend of mine who is starting to make ripples in music at the age of 15, so I hope she manages to get somewhere with it)

Bert McCracken
Quinn Allman
Jeph Howard
(All from The Used)

Gerard Way (Ex-My Chemical Romance, and graphic novel/comic writer/artist)

Jerry Only (Misfits)

Bizarrely it never occurs to me to ask for autographs. I got to dance with Darren Hayes from Savage Garden (The guy who sang To the Moon and Back and Truly, Madly, Deeply).

I suppose I sort of got to dance with Rik Mayall too. My mum told me that when I was a toddler I was in my pram and my mum sort of said to him "keep her entertained for a bit...." so he spun my pram around a few times and I was giggling like mad.

I also got to meet and take photos of WWE's (or WWF back then...?) The Rock, Jeff Hardy, Edge and Christian, Shane McMahon, Triple H and The Big Show when they arrived in Manchester Airport.
I am functioning within the established parameters.

Had a few more successes since my last post here...

80's pop star Sinitta

Toro Rosso F1 drivers; Jean Eric Vergne and Danill Kvyat

Former US President George W Bush

In regards to Bush, i actually emailed all 4 living former US presidents, and he is the second to get back to me, i know he made some pretty crappy decisions when in office, but i still think it's a neat thing to own.

I'd also like to try and get President Obama at some point, but i read that the white house receives around 20,000 pieces of correspondence a day and so getting a reply at the moment would be unlikely sadly, it might be better for me to wait until he leaves office in a couple of years before giving it a go.

I have to admit, getting the former US president's autograph is quite impressive when you think about it. Especially how some of the stuff that goes on in America can seem a bit like mythology in a way.

I don't know if you posted it already, but who was the first to get back to you? Was it Clinton?

President Carter was the first to get back to me, haven't heard from Clinton yet.

That said, i went into this with zero expectations, so even if i don't hear from the other two presidents, i've still had some success.

Surely it's better just to have his autograph than to go and meet him in person.

The guy might be a bung hole but he is still historically important and for that reason I can see why people would want his Autograph. I have photographs of the concentration camps in Poland and while there awful places that never should have existed and I can see people thinking owning photos is sick I think its important to have them especially when people try to deny there existence.

Bush's is a part of history, be it a good or bad part depends on your views but you certainly dont have to like him to want to have the autograph.

I know i'm being pedantic with this, but i must add that Sarah Ferguson has not officially been a member of the royal family since her divorce in 1996.

That is why she is no longer bound by protocol which prevents members of the royal family from signing autographs unless in an official capacity.
