bought a blister pack of Guardians Rising from Tesco as they had a promotion on. £8.80.

gooseberry fool all pulls but the Vikavolt Promo is really useful for trades and I got another reverse holo garbodor to run in the deck (instead of the normal one) so not a total waste.

To me, it sounds like the complete opposite. Don't worry, Dan, you're not missing out on anything tbh.

I've never had the inkling to watch one to see what the fuss is about. I might enjoy it if I'm honest but its a series that's never appealed to me to try. I have had many looks of disgust and shock when I tell people this though

I get that when I tell people I think Mario games are mediocre, or that Star Wars ain't that great.

I used to be really into it; read all the books, seen all the films; but honestly by the time I saw the last film I wasnt really into them at all

It's an alright franchise but I wouldn't recommend getting into it unless the idea of them really appeals to you

I get it regular when I tell people I don't like Star Wars. It seems that because I'm a man that I have to like it along with football which is something else that I have zero interest in. In fact some of my friends still talk about both to me and because they're my friends I feel like I have to entertain the conversation - even when I know nothing about it and couldn't care less. Then there's a few that have digs (some sly) about Star Wars and one that just doesn't listen and shoves all kinds of Star Wars stuff, especially Lego, under my nose asking me how great it is.

Just give it a rest.

I do think the mainline Mario games are great though but if you don't then that's fine. I don't have an issue with that and I don't see why others create the fuss they do. Individual tastes.

I think the only way I'd watch one is if my girlfriend pestered me enough and I gave in and watched them with her. But since I don't have a girlfriend, (and with a lengthy single life behind me), I can't see myself ever wanting to. Yay single life!

I would recomend grabbing potter if you see it ridiculously cheap like a cheap boxset of all the films then watching them on one of those days when your ill on the sofa... They are enjoyable enough but there not going to change the world, they just kill dead time. I have read the books as well and in truth I doubt I will ever read them again but I would proberbly stick them on and watch them when theres nothing much better to do.

Yeah I grabbed Guardians 2 on blue ray from a supermarket as well £15 , going to be watching it tonight with my daughter, and girlfriend. Me and my daughter went to see it in the cinema and had a great time together so wanted to grab it as soon as it was out. I also booked me and her tickets to see the new IT on the 14th and paid £8 for the old one on blue ray.

worth it though.... Carcassone especially, its a great game. I dont own it myself but I have played a lot of it and really enjoyed it.

I just got Dragon Quest VIII on 3DS for £15, I think I have it on PS2 but I am more likly to play it on the move.

There's a Carcassonne game that's on/was on Xbox Live Arcade. I didn't think much of it at first but after I gave it a decent try out I realised how good it was and spent quite some time playing. I didn't know about an actual card game (although now its pretty obvious) so I'll have a look around for it.

I wouldn't call it a card game more a tile placement game

Also it gets pretty samey before long so I'm not the biggest fan
