How does this match up against Godzilla? I liked that film
Haven't had a chance to see it yet, but i will add that anyone who has not yet seen Godzilla, can get a free copy bundled in with this at Morrisons.

I'd say not as strong, it's a very different kaiju movie. It has some really nice nods to Godzilla and it's fun, but it's much more hammy and goofy with things rather than slow and suspenseful.

Finally got my Switch ordered :) going to be buying Zelda, Splatoon 2, a case and a couple of glass screen protectors to go with it. Shame I've got until around mid August before, I'll get it but I wanted it before Mario/Rabbids is out which is what I was aiming for. Looking forward to it already actually :)

I went to a local indy games store I was going to buy Arms cause they were selling it for £39 that was the whole point of my visit but ended up grabbing BattleField 1 for the xbox one instead for £15, not sure if this was a good or a bad move.

I enjoyed Battlefield 1, sadly the campaign was way too short, but it was great fun nethertheless, and the multiplayer is decent.

"Great....but you missed 60 boxes"

Finally managed to find a physical copy - struggled to get hold of one for a while for some reason.

I hadn't played these games for like a decade - playing the first one and after the inital levels it's pretty darn difficult (I think from memory the first one was slightly more tricky than the other two?)

Games pure class though and looks gorgeous.

Spent £80 on the rest of the cards for my first competitive Pokemon TCG deck. built the deck around cards I already have from boosters but needed to order like 40 singles regardless, despite my pulls being generally good, due to how weird and scattered the staple trainer cards are.

I'm super excited for it though, trading card battles are friggin great and it'll be nice to actually meet local people and start getting a bit of a social life around here.

Please tell me you took September's rotation into account and didn't spend E20 on VS seekers.

Also, this better be Alolan Ninetales GX or I'm disowning you. Again.

I got the LexiBook tv game console for £2.50, yeah its one of those rip of Wii things its this one but in white

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lexibook-JG742 ... me+console

Apparently if you mess around there is a way to get it to play NES roms so I have basically purchased it to mess around with for a bit of fun, the games on it are actually on a 4gig micro sd card which I found a bit weird. I havent done much with it yet as it needs some triple A batteries and they wernt included in the box.

Drampa / Garbotoxin Garb / Tauros GX

There's a lot of noise around Espeon but I didn't really understand that build and wanted to reduce the need for evolutions in my first deck

Also got a Lele etc, probably trade my way into the cards I need to round it out. Ideally need another Lele but they're £42 single so I'm not holding my breath

don't worry my dude, I didn't get any singles that are being rotated out. I'll have VS seekers when play testing it initially through the Rayquaza decks (needed N, Sycamore etc and this was the most cost effective way) but they're not part of the main deck build. depends what burning shadows has though obv, it's going to need 4 po towns etc so that may have a big impact as well

not Ninetails though I'm afraid

You sicken me. Evolutions are fine, especially with Energy Evolution Eevee. It's hard to say which is the better Garbodor deck though. Also, Lele are £30 at most. The average of my 3 half arts has been about £27.

Also, will you be attending Internationals in London so I can whoop your angel delight at a children's card game?

And related purchase, I got pretty sleeves at Regionals this weekend. Expensive but worth it.

I like fast decks with minimal setup in TCG - but depends how the game changes in September really. If I need to buy a couple of different GXs then that won't be a problem. My local League is moving to a Saturday so I'll get plenty of playtime to experiment. :)

I'm unlikely to attend internationals purely because I have no idea how they work, but don't rule it out. Anything could happen etc.

Sleeves look decent! I just went with the generic Pokeball ones for now.
