how are you, as an american, okay with the fate that befell your country
The country's been handed to the liberals for too long. He's going to take care of immigration, forge friendships with Russia, boost the economy, create new jobs and unlike Hillary he's got enough guts to call terrorists what they are - Muslim extremists. If Hillary had won, abortions and gay marriages would be flying everywhere and the government would be too cowardly to admit that Muslims are responsible for the attacks that have plagued the world this year. Is he a perfect candidate? No, but with the right people behind him he could actually get things done.
America doesn't HAVE Liberals, dude. You have McCarthy to thank for that. gooseberry fool, this post reads like a Trump speech. Is that you, Donald?

Man, anyone who isn't conservative is a liberal - regardless of terminology. Think of the SJWs that jack up your Facebook feed. It's something I hated about the latter years of Obama's administration and it's something that will be pegged down to size when Trump's inaugurated.

I also despise SJWs I just wish I had the balls you do to cast myself away from it instead of throwing myself into communities swarming with them

I wish I was living in Trump's America tbh

yes, and what i'm saying is that america's two relevant parties are both conservative parties because mccarthyism happened and now actual liberal, socialist viewpoints are suppressed and nonexistent in mainstream politics. look at what happened to bernie sanders.

and i don't even know what the gooseberry fool the second half of that post was meant to put across so whatever, i'll just ignore it

Just add me into the pile, with practically everyone else, that didn't see this coming.
Me and Reggie said the demographics gave him a chance of winning, I didn't think he was actually going to win, but I thought ht had a good chance if you read my post history, and you constantly called me ridiculous for it saying I trust the betting not you.

Shouting and hollering is good enough for the primaries when you're running against a handful of other nutters to split the opposition, but you can't keep that up for another 8 months without people realising you've got no policies and are clearly a crazy person.
Whoops.

I told you demographics would be her problem, looks like i did have an "amazing insight into the future", thanks.

Yes.
barrybarryk wrote: Considering option 2 is Donald "I have the best words" Trump, it's a ridiculously easy choice to make. But Trump is toast anyway, his campaign is already in tatters. They should just go ahead and make Hillary POTUS and spare the US the embarrassment of another few months of Trump campaigning or before some nut assassinates him.
My favourite.

The fact is he is now throwing his toys around about the system being "rigged" against him and obviously not getting the nomination in the future, despite the fact in no way has he more support than Clinton (even if superdelegates were removed from the equation). He's lost, unless he wants Trump to win, he needs to stop with this eton mess.
Whoops.

How can you justify that statement given the results?
I was referring to Row's proposed system (or my misreading of how it worked). There is arguably a democratic bias in the current system, but not a particularly significant one.
row101 wrote:Just to clarify, it needs to be passed by states that make up a majority of the electoral college, and then those states give their electoral college votes to the overall popular vote winner, including the states that haven't passed it. I don't see the problem.
Apologies, I thought the idea was that the winner of those states combined got all their votes. The winner of the overall vote including other states would be a fair enough system (although it would make for significantly less entertaining election night viewing).

Hopefully the senators will be able to reign back Trump enough from any crazy and sudden decisions. They held Obama back from some of his more radical proposals liks free healthcare.

Then again, he might throw a massive fit if he doesn't get his way in one of these types of votes...

I wouldn't be surprised if Trump changes the names of famous locations in America.

The Trump House.
The Empire Trump Building.
The Statue of Trumpism.
The Trumped Canyon.
The Golden Trump Bridge.
The TrumpTM Lincoln Memorial
Mount Trumpmore

Etcetra etcetra.
Now with more F in my name. Not as dirty as it sounds.

But even if Trump does get impeached, wouldn't that mean the US gets stuck with Pence? I've heard he's even worse.
