Atmospheric, good composition, I love his voice, will look into more of his work, 7/10.

That was alright, it had a nice melody, and the vocals were pleasant - 7/10

I'll be honest; I've never been a fan of Maroon 5's vocals. The song's fine, but I fear they're not for me. 6/10

I like it, I used to have a friend who was all over Marina. Maybe that makes me biased? Oh well, 7/10.

Here's the song for the next guy/gal.

Excellent stuff. Doug's vocals are grating for some but I don't have a problem with them at all. They could use a little more pop but they work well with this track. Otherwise this is a solid, progressive opener to one of their better albums. The melodies are catchy and keep it interesting throughout the fairly extensive run-time (by Built to Spill's standards, at least). Lovely. [8/10]

New Panda Bear hype.

It has a really haunting beginning. When it kicks in at about 1:40 then goes back to being smooth again, it really gets me. I'd probably say 8.5/10, but I'll probably listen again and again. Thanks for introducing me to this Rachel :)

I love this song

Not bad, but a bit boring for my taste personally. Not a fan of 7 minute long songs. I can't really fault the vocals too much, and the music was very atmospheric, almost felt like it should be in a film, TV show or game.

6/10

This is one of my favourite songs from one of my favourite bands.

Pleasingly more thrash than some of the main stream stuff that attempts to appeal to people listening to metal/rock. Builds nicely throughout .. I have a feeling metalhead friends would be listening to something even harder, but easily worthy of a 7.5 out of 10.

Drastics - reggae version of an MJ classic .. some days I just need some reggae.

It's an interesting way of experiencing the song, for sure. Although I don't see myself ever listening to it over the original. Still, I enjoyed it. 7/10

this is weird i really loved kate nash when her album Made Of Bricks came out 7 years ago (i was 10) but she's not really been heard of since then. i really liked this track though, it's a lot more punky than anything off the other album which i like (i still like her old style too tho). my only problem is with some of the lyricism like rhyming 'sister' with 'missed ya' then 'sister' then 'blister'........... come on kate.......... 8/10

Wasn't a fan of this album, it ran a tad too generic for my tastes. Not a bad track. [5]

I actually like this song even though it's super overused, nice remake as well, bit too slow paced for my liking though.
7/10

One of my all time favourite tunes. I can listen to this on repeat and not get tired.

It's mashed-up with Float On by Modest Mouse.

Whilst I often like mashups modest mouse is just ruined by smashmouth. Although in fairness everything is ruined by smashmouth.

Anyway, Rich Girls was a sub-par Hall and Oates song and this version is just terrible. 3/10.

Love the Primus-y vibe of this track melded with De La Rocha's booming vocals. Makes for an enjoyable, funky, banging track. Feels a tad spacey in places. I must get properly into this band at some point. [7]

I liked that quite a bit, the guitar and vocals in particular were great. I loved the intro in particular, I'm a sucker for talk-singing. 8/10

I really enjoyed this, especially how the song develops and escalates as it goes on. The vocals are offbeat and memorable, which I appreciate. Catchy intro too. 8/10

I wasn't sure as it started that I would like it .. but it just grew bigger and better with every line or two .. by the last minute I was trying to sing along  8.5/10

So to post from almost an established genre in its own right ..

Collin McLoughlin - STWT (an acoustic cover of a popular house track by an even more popular group from that particular genre) ..
