I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread where we can discuss streaming platforms and the things we find on them. Tell us about what you'd been watching, new additions you're interested in and hidden and unknown gems you've found.

You all probably know netflix has their own original series and films, this thread also serves as a place to discuss these which include:

Original Series

Orange Is The New Black
Master Of None
Fuller House
Bloodline
Marco Polo
Narcos
Jessica Jones

Original Films

Beasts of No Nation
The Ridiculous 6
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny
Pee-wee's Big Holiday
Special Correspondents
The Do-Over
The Fundamentals of Caring
Brahman Naman
Rebirth

I'm aware that Amazon has also produced their own series such as Transparent and The Man in the High Castle... this isn't a netflix exclusive thread despite what the title suggests so if you wanna post about these then sure cool.

They finally put my price up after being frozen at £5 for two years which made me very sad but atm I'm watching Person of Interest and still have to start S4 of OITNB even though I'm still not sure if I even like that show.

Also kwl that S2 of Fargo is being added, everyone should watch it if they're dum and haven't already.

Generally just go with the free trials when they give them out so that works for me. Daredevil and Bojack Horseman are the only exclusives I remember, probably others I'm sure, but can't recall. Looking forward to the Punisher when that's a thing too obviously.

Some paid VPNs still work but could obviously stop working at any time. I use TigerVPN where the US servers still seem to be working.

You could try these but I haven't tested them.

But yeah, been watching some Arrow recently on US Netflix.

Finished watching Stranger Things over the last 2 days. I enjoyed it overall, the characters were likeable and the plot was well thought out.

Watching Stranger Things too, and it's literally my new favourite series. Just finished Ep 4, and it's getting really interesting. The only problem I have with it so far, and this is a really minor thing, is that some of the music choices and the way they are intergrated seem quite obtrusive and don't really work. But everything else is great!

Everyone needs to watch Bojack Horseman, it takes a few episodes to 'click' but it's genuinely great.

It is brilliant and one of my favourite shows now, personally I liked the soundtrack, especially at the end of the third episode. They announced they are going to sell an official soundtrack album too.

I finished the series last night, and I think it's safe to say I need more! I think I may get the official soundtrack as well.
