Looking forward to it, only bad thing is that I heard somewhere they wanted to keep it as a surprise but then it got leaked elsewhere so they had to reveal it officially. Still, a faceoff between Simms and Gomez's Masters would be absolutely fantastic, really hope that a Two Masters story is what they're going for here. Guessing it'll also elaborate on how exactly the Master got free again in the first place.

Really enjoyed that opener, especially as the companion introductions are usually not the best. Looks like a lot of promising stories to come this series, though have reservations about the robots speaking in emoji next week but will give it a go regardless

I've gone off Doctor Who over the past few years (just couldn't get into Matt Smiths Doctor) but found myself watching and enjoying last nights episode, will certainly give the next few episodes a go.

^ Pretty much that, though I did like Matt Smith. I really liked series 5 too.

The episode wasn't actually that bad, the monster wasn't much cop, but most importantly Bill is rather likeable and Matt Lucas is growing on me.

When they said the Mondasian Cybermen were returning I wasn't sure, but the way they were lit in the few shots of the "coming soon" trailer actually made them look quite creepy.

But yeah, enjoyable opener, lots of things to look forward to this series, Bill seems cool and I still like Nardole. Unfortunately the episode did also remind me of how much I like Peter Capaldi's Doctor...

Second episode not as good as the first, felt the writing was a bit off

I think I preferred it when it was just The Doctor, Bill and the emoji robots. It got a bit more by-the-numbers when the colonists entered the story. I would agree that the first episode was stronger, but this was still enjoyable and Bill and The Doctor continue to click. Also, I know they're a little lame but I do like the emoji robots.

For the most part I really enjoyed this second episode, although the last few moments were a bit off for me. I didn't like how they were all so nonchalant about the deaths. Yeah, the Vardy didn't kill those people out of malice but all those people still died. It's still pretty messed up what happened. And right before the Doctor fixes the machines someone was obliterated in plain sight, but it's like yeah whatever, let's not dwell on that. This kind of thing is not exactly too surprising in Moffat-era Who though.

That said, I felt once again, looking at Capaldi, that he is possibly the best incarnation of the Doctor yet in modern Who (I say modern because I can't comment on the classic series having not watched it). I have liked all of them, though. Matt Smith is at least my second favourite.

I liked the scenes with Nardole in the first ep but it was understandable that there was less focus on him and more on the new Doctor-Bill relationship this second episode.

I thought the episode was pretty good especially the first 25-30 when it was just the Doctor, Bill and Emoji robots but when the people started to appear it kinda went downhill and the ending was kinda rushed.

Caught up on the last couple of weeks' episodes. They both start off well and with promise, but I don't think they resolve very well. It's a shame cuz Capaldi still acts and plays his role really well

Well, I've generally been greatly enjoying this series. And Knock Knock was no exception.

I didn't find any of Bill's housemates to be completely obnoxious either, which is always nice for side-characters.

After the previews I was expecting a good cliffhanger.

I feel like you can tell where Capaldi has been told how to act or say a line, the huge drop in quality between most of his acting and the last line.

I think the cliffhanger was also lessened somewhat by the fact that we all know it's probably not going to last long.

Decent episode, otherwise. I liked Nardole having a larger role. And even though we saw the shot in every trailer for this series and episode, the suit corpses walking on the outside of the station still gave me a small chill thanks to the way they were revealed.

Really good episode, the suit corpses were pretty creepy and Matt Lucas is actually getting rather good in this.
