Finished watching Ao no Ekusoshisuto today. It was fairly entertaining.

I finally started watching Deathnote at last. I've managed to watch the first two episodes. At first I thought it was a bit meh. I didn't think I could get into Light's character at all. But now that L has been introduced, it's definitely got my attention.

I'm also thoroughly enjoying Bleach at the moment too. Just at the part where they all have to rescue Rukia from her impending execution. Good stuff so far.

I don't honestly care what anyone says about Bleach, I unabashedly love it, and tbh, The Thousand Year Blood War arc has been consistently good thus far.

I also recently finally watched Madoka and it's honestly one of the best pieces of media I have ever seen.

It's from the Doctor Who episode Listen.

I thought it might have been Doctor Who related. I only recently watched that episode as well.

Read the interviews with the guy who made the Death Note Manga, seems like he basically winged the entire series which I found pretty hilarious. Was expecting long complex thought processes about all the characters and everything, but then he says how he basically did half the stuff he did as like in-office jokes.

I can't say I've enjoyed The Thousand Year Blood War arc all that much since the second invasion. The fights have been tedious for a long time now, and the majority of the bad guys throwaway.

I adore Bleach, but even my devotion was tested during parts of the Arrancar arc which just seemed to drag on and on (triple digit Espada fights, ugh). Not started on Thousand Years War yet, just finished Fullbring which was alright but very formulaic.

I'm interested in hearing if anyone else has been watching Akame ga Kill and what you guys make of it. Thus far, I think it's been good, with some fairly likeable, if not a little shallow, characters.
Has anyone been reading the manga? Because I'm considering moving onto that once the first series has finished. I'm curious also as to how closely the anime has been adapting the manga.

The latest chapter of Bleach was absolute garbage
It might as well not have even existed

I agree. And I had high hopes for Sparkly Aizen, too. Such high hopes. He suffers from the same mortal affliction that every character in Bleach is affected by; the inability to carry out an attack or strategy and not explain it to the enemy so they're able to come back and kill you afterwards.

I can't believe Bleach is still going, I remember thinking it was starting to drag back in 2008.

Well the anime stopped a while ago and this is the final arc of the manga so it's on its last legs
But yeah, considering how fantastically mediocre it's always been it's lasted a long time

Anyway
Onepunch-Man

When the crew fights Kuma, the Pacifistas and Borsalino and gets split up before the 2 year time skip.

Though Luffys punch on the Celestial Dragon that causes this is one of my favourite scenes. Though a lot of good stuff happens in that arc.
Bleach is just being dragged on too much. This Arc had some promise at the start but now but has turned into a boring dull mess.

I haven't caught up with OnePunch-man in a while. Actually forgot all about it >.> Though it is a pretty awesome manga as well.

Space Dandy was dandy. Terror in Resonance wasn't so much.

Currently only watching Parasyte.

I read the manga of Parasyte a few years ago
It was funny in a cheesy old sci-fi B-movie kind of way
I get the feeling it's lost that corny charm in the anime though
Haven't watched it though so I can't say

From what I've read of it - yeah, main character especially has been changed a fair bit.
However Migi's sound effects are done by a beat boxer, so that's a thing.

Seconding this. Historie is definitely dandy.
