The Best and Worst Anime Openings/Endings

Post by Scapegoat » Thu Apr 09, 2015 12:53 pm

Title says it all. Post the best and worst anime openings or endings you have.

I'll begin with a couple good ones:

Kill la Kill [OP2] (YouTube deletes it for copyright, so Vimeo will have to do)
https://vimeo.com/97004451

Gintama [ED2]

Now for a bad one:

Beelzebub [OP1]

Finally, everything in this thread is opinion based but everyone clearly has wrong opinions so let the flaming begin.

Drugs.

Also, a couple of my favourites I missed, and I don't even care, Next Chance to Move On is awesome.

Also, OP1 over OP2. Fite me:

I don't know what the hell she does with her voice when she sings "minds craving" but it sounds awesome.

Yeah, all of the JoJo openings have been top tier, Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency and Stardust Crusaders 1 having the best intros and Roundabout being the best ending song.

Nothing can touch the Oingo Boingo/Oingo Hol endings though

A disappointing lack of Database in this thread, not sure if it would count as best or worst though lol

Best:

And sure, why not, this one was pretty uplifting as well:

Just what is that instrument at the start that sounds like a wooden cowbell? I have no idea but I like it.

Finally, sure, arguably the most well known and recognizable anime endings of all time:

Perfectly reflects the mood the anime sets.
