Supposedly the actual fee is somethingclose to £100M, but with various things deducted. Namely the cost of ending Rooney's contract early so he can go on this "free"/swap deal, the Schiederlin deal's continued payments and sell on fees for Michael Keane. So the amount that Man U actually pay out is essentially closer to £50M. At which point, it starts looking like decent business.

EDIT: lol

Welp, PSG have actually gone and done it. Neymar leaves Barcelona for PSG for £200 million.

and he is the worst of the Barca front 3, so I dread to think how much suarez and messi apparently are. just a ridiculas amount to spend on somebody.

All of the numbers are obscene and then you realise that you can instantly think of at least 5 players better than him.

200m really is a scary amount of money, but I suppose with shirt sales they'll cover, what? 4 million?

Scary to think that soon 100m might be the standard price for a player.

Don't think Sheffield United have had a bad start to the season at all, won their first game and lost 1-0 against Middlesbrough today (who seem to be the favourites to go up), hoping we'll have a good mid table finish in our first season back in the championship.

You win some, you lose some, what can I say? It's almost like there's still another 37 games left to go though.

Good start to the season, this is exactly what we needed. Now, if we can get a good result against Chelsea next weekend I might actually consider us title challengers again.

Well as soon as Leicester put one past Sheffield United there was no coming back, before the first goal I thought we were playing really well, at least we got one back.

Get in! First Steel City derby in about 5 years won, 4-2! Cracking game. Hoping to get to the reverse fixture when United are home, hoping for a similar result :D

Well, Sheffield United are top of the championship, never thought I'd be able to say that at the start of the season, wonder how far we'll actually get. Was only predicting mid table at the start of the season :)
