Ivan Perisic is one of the most underrated players in the world.

Now Spain, Germany, Italy, France and England are all on one side of the draw. Only one of those teams will make the final. Wales have avoided that.

Spain look Vulnerable to pace... Italy and England could beat them.

So, Northern Ireland through to the last 16. Where they will most likely face France while Wales will most likely be playing Turkey. The only alternative to those opponents is Wales v Northern Ireland which can be achieved if Sweden or Ireland (or both) win (unless Sweden win by 4 or more and Ireland don't win) AND both Iceland and Portugal don't lose.

Actually kind of disappointed I'll be missing the second half of Spain v Italy given how vulnerable Spain are.

Spain are definitely going out next round, they are nothing like the team they were back in 2008/2010/2012.

True, but Italy hardly play to their weaknesses. We're going to have to see a different Italy, who I personally think are being overrated based on that magnificent Belgium defeat, if Spain are going to go out in the round of 16.

Whoever wins that game will have to get through Germany unless (most likely) Slovakia pull off something miraculous. The eventual winner will probably come from that side of the draw and will certainly deserve it more than whichever team comes through the other side in terms of quality of the teams.

Lets not forget that this is a competition that was won by Greece 12 years ago so you can never rule out the outsiders.

The way the draw is shaping up we could have a first time finalist. The fact that Portugal could join France, Italy, Spain, Germany and England on the same side of the draw could really open the door for a surprise contender.

2016 really is the year of the underdog...

Honestly, the way Wales set themselves up. I can see them reaching at least the semis.

Sucks to be Italy. They could have faced Hungary if they came second in their group.

The Republic of Ireland are through and will play France in the last 16. I think we might be seeing a few replays of a certain Henry handball and talk of revenge in the build up. And if they can win that, then there's a chance of an England-Ireland Quarter Final.

And Wales v Northern Ireland as well. That should be a good match. Belgium v Hungary is the last match. I'm pretty hyped for this last 16.

That Republic Italy game was incredible to watch. Over the moon for them.

Yeah, just comparing them to how they were 4 years ago against Spain in their final group game. It was an amazing performance.

After England beat them.. I can't see them getting beyond the quarters.. If I was a betting man I would have a fair wager on that.

Bloody Hell, that was close. Northern Ireland were amazing. They defended so well and gave us some real problems.

Kind of got a bit of a dilemma with strikers, Vokes, Williams and Robson Kanu all offer different things Couldn't call who will start in the QF. But we're actually there. Just got to hope Ashley Williams' shoulder gets sorted in time.

I'm sure he'd just cut it off if it meant guaranteeing his place in the starting 11.

A lot of the games in the round of 16 have been so close and the losing side didn't really deserve to lose. Germany v Slovakia was the only real walkover. Don't think Belgium's 4-0 win reflected how well Hungary played. Poland v Portugal doesn't promise much, but the rest of the quarter finals seem like good prospects.
