Re: The Apprentice
I get the impression that a member of the production team is a fan of Thomas Newman. I've already heard a track from A Series of Unfortunate Events being used in an episode this series, and I distinctly remember music from WALL-E, Finding Nemo, and American Beauty being used in previous series.

Re: The Apprentice
Another great episode, and the clips for next week suggest that they give people food poisoning at a kids party they organise.

Re: The Apprentice
Sam was the right person to go, he always looked like he didn't want to do anything (apart from writing in the children's story book episode)

I can't believe it either! She always seems to be nasty, no matter who she's working with. Not good.Highlight wrote:Over sexy Sugar and gorgeous Claude? Well, yeah, duh.Kesskuron wrote:I'd like to take this opportunity to declare that Karren Brady is the hottest person on the show

I was trying to find a huge, table-breaking image of Claude Littner but apparently that's a very niche request

Re: The Apprentice
I think Richard would have been in the final but he blew it with his business plan being the same as his current business, not really sure who will win now

Claude went soft on the candidates last night, spending time with them has melted his ice cold heart.
Pity.

Lord Sugar made the right decision last night, his investment will be put to good use.

Re: The Apprentice
I did think it could go either way at one point with him not wanting to be associated with a business such as plumbing due to cowboys, but the app just looked like to much of a risk and a money pit

Re: The Apprentice
I think Vana suggesting that she'd be interested in further financing her business by using a venture capitalist really put Lord Sugar off of her. I'm sure it was probably that and that the app would cost more than the £250,000 investment to make. So he went with Joseph as that was the much safer option.

Re: The Apprentice
what a eton mess group of contestants, the fact that the best plan he could find was "im going to buy more vans for my plumbing company" says it all really

Re: The Apprentice
Its back! The first episode showed that all the candidates know very little about anything (same as every year) it was an easy task in my opinion and both teams should have done better than they did

Re: The Apprentice
Really enjoyed the opening episode, it looks like they've picked a decent bunch of idiots and i'm looking forward to seeing them screw things up in new and imaginative ways.

Re: The Apprentice
I've watched the first couple of episodes this year and for the most part the candidates are very unlikable and just generally not very good, probably won't even bother watching anymore episodes till the final few (so probably the interviews and the final which are normally good ones to watch regardless of candidates).

Re: The Apprentice
I always prefer the earlier episodes, as it's during those tasks where the contestants make the most entertaining screw ups.

Re: The Apprentice
The amount of screw ups they make actually makes me wonder how they do so well in their day to day lives.
