Re: Whatcha Watchin'?
I was looking through NowTV a couple of days ago and started watching South Park, I have not watched it for years so didn't know if I would like it still and I am finding it really funny

Started watching Agent Carter yesterday, it's neat, though i'm surprised it's only 8 episodes long.

Re: Whatcha Watchin'?
It's a bit weird, I've found myself appreciating the random crap of the earlier seasons more as the show gets more and more about mocking current events. I think the last episodes I found genuinely funny were the Game of Thrones trilogy. I gave up near the end of season 18.RichardUK wrote:I was looking through NowTV a couple of days ago and started watching South Park, I have not watched it for years so didn't know if I would like it still and I am finding it really funny

Plowed through Love on Netflix the past couple of days. Gus and Mickey are both insufferable chelsea bun who both have much better options than each other, but it's pretty refreshing to watch them work it out together.

I also just watched Love over the last two days and I thought it was pretty fantastic. The relationship between Gus and Mickey was developed really well I thought and there were some real, genuine heartbreak moments for me.Chocolate-Milk wrote:Plowed through Love on Netflix the past couple of days. Re: Whatcha Watchin'?
The Flash has resumed, so I'm watching that. Have yet to watch DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which they totally didn't overhype or anything. Should be good hopefully.
Also watching RWBY. It's ok. It's not Soul Eater though. Which I guess is an unfair comparison, but whatever.

First couple of episodes of Legends of Tomorrow aren't great but it gets better so stick with it if you decide to watch it.

Watching Heroes Reborn and finding it just as enjoyable as The first season was in terms of story and characters although the cgi for the mmo game are pretty bad. I'm kinda bummed out that it's only one season long though

All the CGI in Heroes Reborn is so bad it's funny. (Same goes for the whole season)

Aye, I found the Flash to be a bit like that as well. The first episode was "eh" but it got much better.Edd wrote:First couple of episodes of Legends of Tomorrow aren't great but it gets better so stick with it if you decide to watch it.

If I remember right, wasn't it that paradox that caused the blackhole to destroy that timeline/universe?Fieryice wrote:Flash Season 1 Ending Spoilers and mild rant:

Re: Whatcha Watchin'?
Yeah, but couldn't that be said for any time Flash goes back in time as well? Or the entire premise of Legends of Tomorrow? Seems to be a pretty standard time travel trap that writers fall into all the time. I just roll with it.

I'm currently watching:
The Walking Dead
Vikings
Arrow
The Flash
DC's Legends of Tomorrow
The 100
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D
Daredevil
Bloodline
Fairly glad half of these are on a short break this week so I can do some gaming.

Re: Whatcha Watchin'?
I know, but for some reason I couldn't get over it. Probably because it would effect the whole season's events. And it was how they get rid of the big baddie so it has more significance in my eyes.Majin_Nephets wrote:Yeah, but couldn't that be said for any time Flash goes back in time as well? Still a fun series which I'm enjoying a lot.

Re: Whatcha Watchin'?
You should get on The Strain season 3, it's been great so far. Zach is still the worst though. Just completely unlikeable because he gooseberry fool everything up and never catches on to the fact that his undead mum being controlled by the Master might just happen to have some ulterior motives.
Westworld has also been fantastic so far, can see it becoming HBO's new Game of Thrones once that finishes. It just has so much good stuff going on, highly recommend it.

Re: Whatcha Watchin'?
Been watching a whole load of stuff. All caught up on Rick and Morty, brilliant, funny two seasons and like everyone else cannot wait for the third.
Watched 2 seasons of BoJack Horseman, and whilst at first I wasn't really sure what to think about it, it eventually grew on me as I connect to the theme and idea of BoJack being this fallen celebrity, trying to make his way back to fame in a dignified manner, but messing up his life along the way due to his misguided decisions. I dunno, I just find it poignant in some way.
Westworld is amazing, but I'm concerned that it will become HBO's new Game of Thrones, I don't want to see it turned into a super long running series, since I think it will lose it's effect as time goes on. But then again, we'll have to see by the end of the first season.
And finally I've started watching American Horror Story, the first two episodes. Pretty good so far.
