Not drawn for a while because of being ill, but saw comments here so did a couple more today and I've still got a few from before that I hadn't shared yet.

First up is a pair of faces I did for practice. I think I was using a specific technique or something trying to come up with original faces.


Next up was a different pair of original faces. Fanart for Gazooki's fanfic. And my first proper attempt at doing two characters together. Didn't really go all that well. Proportions are a little messed to start with...


Back to copying, but something far more complex than usual, Camilla from Fire Emblem Fates. And wre it not for the eye being a bit wide, I'd be incredibly proud of it.

I drew Camula again to try and get a bit of a comparison going. Progress suddenly became very visible.


First of today's drawings, super cute Gym Leader Gardenia with magical hair shading eton mess.


Meanwhile, Flannery's hair is too big for paper.

More drawings because yay!

First up is Brigette. I think she's from Pokémon Bank? I was using the full art version of her appearance in the TCG to work from. Didn't get to do quite the whole thing because of the size of things vs the paper.


Used several references to get this one together and was quite pleased with it until it was pointed out how I'd messed up her back.


I then looked into the manga for reference. Much more detailed, but no idea how to do the shading.


Played through the Radio Tower bit on HGSS and just had to do some fanart because I had far too much fun terrorising people in the Department Store while wearing the Rocket outfit. Overall pretty happy with it.


Normal service of being rubbish is resumed as I attempt to draw Zinnia from the Delta Episode without her cape.

Got another small batch of drawings from the last week or so.

First up, I used an old photo of myself as the only reference to draw a girl in the same sort of style as I've drawn everything else. I did a girl because I looked like a girl so basically took artistic licence with the hair length and the exact way I drew things like the eyes.


Attempt 2 the following day of the same fictional girl using multiple references for how to do eton mess. Went much better.


Saw random anime girl, drew her. Mostly wanted the practice on different hair. If anyone can identify her, that'd be great.


Cynthia from Pokemon DPP. Not really much to say on it.


And finally Azura from FE Fates because why not.

I have returned with mostly old pictures. In that they were one after I uploaded the last batch, but that was still months ago. Warning: The quality does kind of fall off a cliff at one point or another in this selection.

First up is Chiaki Nanami from Dangan Ronpa 2. Not my finest work. I've lost all ability to do eyes.


Kaeetayel made me do it.


Female Corrin from FE Fates and I'm actually pleased with that one.

Then there's a two month gap... which leads to me being horribly out of practice.

It's not encouraging how much of a mess I made of the face of a character I've drawn so many times before.

Updating after a year because reasons. First batch is from the couple of months after the last update.

And then I kind of had an accident that ruined my little finger on my right hand and left it permanently deformed. It then took several months just to be able to attempt to draw again due to inability to hold a pencil for a while. The early results weren't great.

After much persistence, the quality started to improve.

And then this year, actually started to get confident again.
