Well I gave up looking for a female Salandit (not Salazzle, that's its evolution), looks like Stuffel will be my next addition.

Been Mantine Surfing for a while. Now top of the board for three islands, so once I've dealt with the Skulls, and finished up Ula Ula, the Poni Surf challenge is mine. Just hope when the Mantine Surf Global Mission starts it can hit the goal, unlike the catching one. If one thousand people earn one thousand BP, the challenge is done. Of course, more than a thousand people will be taking part, but one thousand will be my target.
Might also go in for the Johto x Alola competition with my current team, just to see if certain of my 'mon can take the challenge.

Lucked into a good Stufful on my first attempt, lonely nature. Lotso is now on my team, two slots left to fill.

Nice.

Having used one on my team in Moon my advice would be to teach it Brick Break via TM. Stufful doesn't learn any Fighting type moves until after it evolves into Bewear when it gets Hammer Arm (though they may have changed that for Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon).

Also, did you get one with the Fluffy nature? If you got one with Klutz then unlucky.

Nope, Klutz. Didn't know it had multiple abilities! I'll teach it brick break, surprised it doesn't learn it already really.

That's unlucky. Klutz is the worst ability in the game as it prevents you from using any held items. I don't know if this includes Z-Moves or not but since the Pokemon usually has to hold the Z-Crystal you are stuck with a long term Bewear that can't use Z-Moves. Fortunately Bewear is a very powerful Pokemon with a lot of HP but Fluffy is what makes it so good since you half all damage from physical attacks which combined with Bewear's high HP and defence makes it tank so many hits, you can then dish out the pain through a really good attack stat in return. I gave my Bewear in Moon the Leftovers item to make it even more tanky.

If I recall correctly the two Stufful I found on Route 8 in Moon, both of them had Fluffy, unfortunately one had a bad nature which is why I ended up getting two in the end, the second one became Tediz the Bewear who remained on my team for the rest of the game.

May need to aquire another Stufful then, just as well mines only gained about 2 levels so not like I'll lose much in that front.

Klutz doesn't negate Z Moves but yeah, fluffy is the better ability.

Lopunny switcheroo set ftw
