Also as the game goes on you get better and better weapons and the problem becomes more running out of space than running out of weapons.
I hear that.
Also started Assassins Creed Origins a couple nights ago. Only made it to the second area last night but I can tell it's gonna be huge and one that'll go on forever, especially when I caught look of the world map. I know I've seen very little of it but I am impressed with the world Ubi has created.

Racked up 23 hours of playtime according to the in-game clock in Xenoblade Chronicles 2... and only just finished Chapter 3. Most games would be over or at the final boss by 23 hours, this is going to take quite a while to finish.
The end of Chapter 3 boss was really hard, I had to "grind" (read: rest up at the inn three times) just to beat it. Kept disrupting my party and constantly KO'ing Tora and Nia. Glad it's over now but
Vandham is dead, I should have figured that he would only be a temporary party member...

Microsoft gave me a free month on Xbox Game Pass for some reason, so I jumped at the chance to use it. First game I'm playing through is Gears of War 4. Two thirds of the way through the campaign, and once that's done, the game's being deleted. No way am I keeping a 93 GB game on my data storage.

I didn't think a game could be so immersive and yet be so cringe worthy and embarassing at the same time but somehow Xenoblade 2 manages it. Chapter 4 sums this up so well.
The character design has been controversial as it is, but apparently it wasn't enough to have scantily clad female characters and close up boob shot camera angles for "fanservice", you then have to go and specifically point out these traits in the name of "comedy". Like really?
And yet the storyline is strong, the actual characters themselves are likeable, the soundtrack is amazing and the gameplay is an improvement on the previous games imo. It's strange, this is both one of the best games of last year and one of the worst. I thought the game overall had been doing a good job of making the characters feel like actual people, but the introduction of Mythra changed that completely. Drawing the most attractive female character possible and then having a comedy scene where said character just happens to be "sleepwalking"... no, just... no.
(May have drawn Dahlia from a Rare Blade Crystal in the same chapter which hasn't helped my mood)
So yeah, the first game is still overall better for me because it had WAY more decency and didn't treat it's female characters like objects. I do think XC2 is probably better than X though.

The combat in the first XC game is like playing gooseberry fool runescape. XC2 is a better game purely based on that fact alone.

A lethal mixture of L.A. Noire, Dragon Quest VIII and Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King. All incredible games for different reasons.

Got Hidden Agenda the other day and I've been going through a bit of it and while the phone app controls fine, nothing beats using the DS4. The story is really interesting as well, with plenty of replay ability.
Also been clocking up the miles in GT Sport and it's a really enjoyable game, while I'm not keen on the always online aspect it's a great racer with a decent amount of content. Also big kudos for Sony for not including pricey dlc, season passes or microtransactions in the game.

Been playing plenty of Pokémon recently, currently up to Po Town. Starting to enjoy it a bit more now, got a team of 5 currently and for once I think I'll use Lunaala.
Re GT Sport, hasn't it started to get more of a career mode now? Still mean to get it at some point but I've still got plenty to play already.

I'm playing through Journey because it was only a couple of quid on PS network. I'm upto the snowy bit. I like games like Inside and Everyone Gone to the Rapture, so Journey is definitely the sort of game I can get into.
I'm playing on PS4, but this is a PS3 game isn't it? Its one of the best looking games I've ever played.

Yeah it has and it's actually quite lengthy, I'm guessing GT Sport will end up being like Driveclub, a game that didn't have a lot of content at launch but with regular updates flourished into a great racer. The game is certainly worth getting if you can get the game for £20-£25.
Been going through a fair bit of Agents of Mayhem, yes it maybe repetitive and there are a fair few glitches but I'm enjoying it immensely.

Might keep a look out then, I was very interested in it to start with till I learned it was online only (for the main portion of the game anyway) and I was hoping they'd release a career mode as DLC, glad to see they have!
Still playing Pokemon here, just outside the league, currently training up my Mimikyu to a similar level (so high 50/low 60's, I'll see when I get bored). Enjoyed it quite a bit more from when Necrozma rocks up, till then it was very similar.

Reached the Abandoned Factory in Xenoblade 2. This place sure is pretty big. Party is level 35 now although for story reasons Tora has to stay out of the party for a bit so down to just two characters... and it's so noticeable how much I miss him in fights. Almost died to regular enemies on multiple occasions.
Spent ages even getting to this place in the first place because of the massive maze you have to go through to get there, before coming out into a hoard of Level 34 monsters that I just had to run past.
Anyway, just come up to a major boss fight in said factory.

I don't normally nickname my Pokémon, unless the name really fits it's looks. My personal highlight for a nickname was stolen from Paper Mario TTYD, Sir Swoop for the Zubat line.

Still playing Xenoblade 2, just getting into a major battle in Chapter 5. After the wackiness of Chapter 4 the game has definitely upped the ante for this chapter and some interesting revelations about the main villain have been made.
You know, there are some parallels between this and Skyward Sword what with characters being weapons and all. Except with no message telling you that the batteries in your...

I've been playing through Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - really enjoying it as I did the other 2. Definitely prefer the more story focused approach of the main series (though I appreciate X doing something different).
I'm currently in chapter 3 and starting to get to grips with the combat system working combos etc, it's really fun to pull off. Intrigued to see where the story goes also. And obviously the game looks great and the soundtrack is phenomenal.
Ever since joining the original ONM I've been a huge Nintendo fan (specifically Zelda) and am looking forward to some great discussions. I was previously known as Lego Master
